June 18th

Madran arrived in the Velvet Room to find only Philemon, herself, Chicory, and Wysteria in it.

"Hey, Wysteria, what's up?"

"Oh, well, Philemon and I were discussing what Nadja did yesterday. Remember, when I summoned her and she made the boulder vanish?"

"Uh, yep, I do. What exactly was that?"

"Well, according to her and what she told me earlier today, she can no longer use Blades of Extinction."

"Really? Wow..."

"Don't worry. Now, she has a new move to replace it. She and I decided to name it 'Undying Hope,' in light of who we're dealing with."

"Well, do you know what exactly it does?"

"Why, yes. It deals one hit of heavy almighty and then two hits of severe bless and curse magic each. Well, that was phrased incorrectly, it does three hits of almighty, bless, and curse. Then, a final hit activates which has a very high chance to instakill the shadows affected with either a curse or bless death. The chance is also heightened if they're weak to either or."

"Well, what's the catch?"

"The catch? Ah, yes, I become unable to use anything other than Mediarama after I use it until the battle ends."

"Hmm. Well, that's nice."

"Indeed."

Madran then awaited everyone else's arrival, with her then standing up and briefing them.

"Ok, so, for this palace, we have until the 21st of next month to change this girl's heart. Then, we need to figure out what to do with Medjed. Any questions?"

"Yes, um, how do we get around Shadow Futaba's unpredictability?"

"I dunno, let's just avoid saying anything close to what sounds like a blame or whatever. Well, let's go!"

The group then headed out to the Metaverse and arrived in front of Futaba's palace. Madran then noticed that their Metaverse clothes were on, which surprised her somewhat.

"Well, no use waiting. Let's find Akira's group."

Madran then began to scan the area until she found where Akira was. Then, she and her group approached him.

"Hey, Joker, what's up?"

"Well, we just arrived. How about you?"

"Same here. Well, are we all ready?"

Madran looked around and nodded.

"Ok, let's go!"

Everyone then went into the palace once more, where they approached the wall coffins. However, Madran then picked up a shadowy signal and stopped them.

"Hold on, something's coming..."

Madran then looked in front of them to see Shadow Futaba standing there.

"Oh... um, hi. Sorry to intrude."

"Hmph. So, you do wish to steal my treasure?"

"Yeah."

"Very well. A small issue happened, however. A thief managed to infiltrate my tomb and steal something of great value. He ran off to the city, but I do have a small hint for you and your persona to use."

Shadow Futaba then handed Madran a piece of cloth.

"Now, go."

"Ok..."
