The Queen of Power

June 20th

Madran arrived back in the Velvet Room to only see that Sheila and Maya had arrived.

"Hey, everyone, what's up?"

"Well, everyone else has been taking forever. Um, did Akira tell you about what's been going on with his group?"

"No, he was really quiet during lunch. Did you talk to him?"

"Yeah. Well, he got really close to getting into the palace with his group, but, well, as he said, 'Morgana can't turn into a helicopter.'"

"Huh? Is this about his odd car thing?"

"It's a bus, and I think so. Well, he said that Makoto had something to do about this, but he didn't really say what."

"I'm kinda worried about this whole thing. Like, in order to get into the palace safely, Wysteria had to be scammed by Kaneshiro. What could this mean?"

Sheila remained quiet for some time until a wave of worry flooded her face.

"Then... they're in deep shit. Let's move!"

Sheila then jumped up with Madran and Chicory following her.

"Hey, Margaret, can you create a door to Akira's closest location?"

"It will be temporary, but yes. Please, be safe."

Margaret then created a door, but stopped Chicory.

"It's very unsafe if he comes along with you. Maya, can you watch over Chicory while they're gone?"

Maya nodded.

"Yep! Good luck, Madran!"

"Sure thing. Ok, let's go!"

Madran and Sheila then left the room and arrived at a different sector of Shibuya. Once they left the alleyway that the door appeared in, they looked around some.

"So, this is closest to where Akira is, right?"

"That's what Margaret said."

Madran looked around until she overheard what sounded like Ryuji.

"Hey, if we don't find Makoto, then she's gonna be in some deep shit!"

"I know, Ryuji! Just, keep looking!"

Madran and Sheila then followed the voice until they found Akira, Ryuji, Ann, Yusuke, and Morgana talking to each other. Morgana then meowed and looked over towards the crowd.

"Hey, did you hear something?"

"Morgana, we're in the middle of rush hour."

"No, I can swear that I heard Madran."

"Uh, let's just keep moving."

The group then vanished into the crowd, which left Madran and Sheila looking for them.

"Oh, come on, we're gonna lose them!"

"I know! Oh, wait, I think I see something..."

Sheila looked over at a man standing by a cafe. Then, Madran also looked over to see Makoto walking into it.

"Wait, that's Makoto! Hurry!"

Madran and Sheila both attempted to get to the cafe, but the crowd proved too hard to get past. Sheila then made an exasperated sigh.

"Well, there goes our chance. Not only did we miss Akira's group, but now we can't get to Makoto."

"Um..."
