Madran arrived back in the Velvet Room to find Sheila and Rosana chatting with Flynn and Isabeau, which led her to sit in an inconspicuous manner to listen in.

"It's interesting that this world has, well, more than just Tokyo and Mikado. It sounds like what one of the Tokyo residents were talking about, where there was a massive amount of destruction unleashed amongst the world."

"Yeah. Um, I'm kinda glad that the whole arms race thing between the US and whoever else is interested has ended, though."

"The US?"

"Oh, um, the United States. It's a large country across a rather large ocean from Japan, and they can be... interesting. Just now, there's a massive stink over their new president."

"Interesting. Also, what Philemon said about our world's problems being solved via you all was new. All I hear normally is that life sucks and all, so it's neat to hear someone say something different."

"Well, what I gathered from that was that all of the demons once were shadows before humans simply just couldn't deal with them, and they were unleashed in what appears to be catastrophic fashion, what, with the fact that everything but Tokyo was ended."

"Didn't, um, Maya mention that they faced off against demons with their personas?"

"Yeah, true. Maybe, Philemon was able to reroute the issue before it turned into a Tensei."

"Huh?"

"Oh, sorry, I'm bringing up new terms left and right. In Japanese, 'tensei' means reincarnation. Also, it's kinda neat that you also speak a version of Japanese, too."

"The language never died, it would seem."

Rosana turned to Maya and Philemon.

"Ay, I thought up something!"

"Yeah?"

"So, ya know how you guys messed with demons, much like how Isabeau and Flynn do? Maybe, you all were on the verge of a Tensei timeline, and were able to stop it after a few tries."

"What do you mean, a few tries?"

Philemon nodded.

"Yeah, I just thought of that. You see, Flynn, that being I mentioned managed to succeed a few times, but I reset the timeline that many times until everything worked out."

"If only we were able to do that..."

"I would like it if I were able to come to your world and awaken the Potential within a few humans, but that may not be possible. It was only by chance that this whole event happened in the first place."

Isabeau nodded before looking over at Madran.

"Oh, you're here. How long have you been listening in?"

"When you guys started talking about different countries."

"Oh, ok."

The group chatted more until everyone else arrived, with them heading out to the Monochrome Forest again.

"Hey, one more thing, now that we're here."

Suga nodded.

"Yeah?"

"Why does your clothing change whenever you enter these areas?"

"Well, it's simple. When our psyche determines a direct threat to it, our mental state enters a mode where we can summon our personas at will. This state is when we have our special clothes on. We got these when we awakened to our personas, aside from Maya and Philemon. Philemon's just special, but Maya awakened whilst under attack from actual demons."
