The group arrived at the floor where the elevator appeared to stop and got out. A thick, green bluster then shot down the room, and the group ran out.

"Uh, what was that?"

"I think it may be Plague. Hold on."

Madran then summoned Dharma and scanned the area ahead of them.

"Ok, there are a lot of stairs, and a large room at the bottom, with what appears to be Plague, Madame, and Butterfly near it. Well, let's get going!"

Everyone then ran down the hallway and started down the stairs. From across the large cylindrical area were several shadows who all transformed into various forms that Madran recognized from the palace. The group then tried to make their way down until Madran saw several shadows going up and down the stairs, which effectively had them surrounded.

"Um... crap! Fwoosh, what do we do?"

Madran looked around.

"Well, there are too many to, well, take on, so..."

Madran pointed at her feet.

"Dharma, blow the steps out!"

"What?"

"Did I stutter?"

"Um... ok. Everyone, hold onto something."

Dharma then caused a massive explosion on the stairs around them, which sent the section that they were on hurtling downwards. Chicory and Rosana then summoned their personas, which either knocked down anything that would suddenly halt their momentum or formed slowing barriers, while Yusuke and Morgana summoned theirs, which formed ice and gales around the part.

"Ok, I think it's working! We're getting pretty close to the ground, so-"

"Zorro, catch us!"

Morgana then sent Zorro behind them, and he hit everyone with a strong blast and knocked them off of the stairs. Then, Zorro shot below them and activated a massive cyclone, which caught everyone and landed them on the ground. Then, the section landed with a sickening crunch.

"Oh, um, ok, wow. Is everyone alright?"

Madran looked around to see that everyone looked to be fine and that Zorro was twirling his rapier.

"How's that for our third expedition? I'm not so bad after all, huh?"

"I could blow this entire joint if I wanted to. Let's keep going."

Maya and Artemis then walked off, with the group catching up to them.

"Uh, Rumor, is everything ok?"

"Well, not only did we almost die, but-"

"Are you concerned about Butterfly?"

Maya looked back at Ann and nodded.

"Yes, that too. He may be the most experienced persona-user out of all of us, but that still doesn't make him invincible."

"Well, he has Plague and Madame, two of the three with base personas that can simply eliminate enemies. What's to worry?"

"Hey, uh, I have something to say about these Hama and Mudo moves."

The group then quieted as Maya spoke up.

"While, yes, if you're caught in one of the two spells, you may certainly be killed, but even then, they can still fail. One of the few reasons as to why Madame is so effective is that Pandora has a sub-effect that makes the chances of her instakills working. I found this out from Margaret, and it explains so many of the times when I used to have Maia and would fail a Hama even though the enemy was caught in it."
