What a Mess

It was a Monday, and Madran had gotten back from school and had assembled her group in the Velvet Room.

"Ok, so, are y'all ready? Wysteria?"

Wysteria nodded.

"Quite so. Hey, Suga, remember, don't spam Magarudyne just because you have it."

"Gotcha. Well, you should also try not to constantly use Mamudoon and Mahamaon."

"You have a point. Let's go."

The group went back to the Metaverse, with them arriving at the landing where the seemingly locked door opened after Ann and Morgana did their magic and allowed passage. There, they continued their advance.

"Ok, so, now that we're in here..."

Madran looked around at the inside of the place, which was covered in too much gold for her eyes.

"Uh, there's another map thing. Let's hope that Joker can pick it up."

"Hey, Fwoosh, how much more time do we have in the palace until we're done?"

"Um, this is probably the shortest one, because we have this floor left and then we're at the treasure."

"Such small dungeons are sure to hold many traps, especially since this man has kept the populace fooled for eternity. Be on guard."

Madran nodded and led the group ahead. Once they passed through some halls, they arrived at an open room with several poles sticking out from the ground.

"Uh... what are these?"

"Be careful not to step between them. They alert everything to our presence, but occasionally there are holes that we can slip through. Try scanning them."

Madran scanned the poles and saw that there were a few lasers going through them. However, a few of them were out, which allowed her to hop over. 

"Hey, y'all, follow me! This maze is a maze, but it ain't impossible."

Madran jumped or snuck under several laser walls until she had to jump a shadow, which put them in a fight with two Anzus and a new shadow that appeared to be a large, four-legged enemy with white fur, a scaly tail, and a face that resembled Chinese dragons. Ue to that, Madran began to scan.

"Ok, this new guy's Barong! Barong's weak to Garu and Eiha, reflects guns and absorbs Kouha and Zio. Let's try using single-target attacks for this fight!"

Madran knocked both Anzus over with her flamethrower, and Wysteria attacked Barong with an Eigaon. Then, the group used an All-Out Attack against them, and the battle finished.

"Ok, nice job, Madame! Let's continue."

Madran led the group fully through the maze, with them encountering the usual enemies and an occasional Barong. Then, they arrived at a set of large paintings along the wall.

"Um... Nightingale, are you sure that we need to go here? There's a wall."

"There are also paintings. Maybe, something can happen with them?"

Madran stared at them and went out to touch them. Then, once her hand made contact, it slid through.

"Oh, oh no, I don't like this."

"A painting of a bamboo forest, hmm? Maybe, we can go fully into it?"

Madran walked into the painting and entered it, which shocked her and the rest of the group. Then, everyone else followed.
