The Return of Jinx

Madran arrived back in the Velvet Room with Elia and Chicory to see that only Rosana and Philemon were there.

"Oh, welcome back, Madran. I was just talking with Rosana, and remember that one fun ability you came up with after you got Dharma?"

"Huh? That's a little sudden, uh, no."

"Well, I was hoping that we could see it again. Remember Jinx?"

"Oh, right, that thing! Well, in Futaba's palace, almost nobody used skills that I had, so I just kinda forgot it."

"Hmm. Well, try and use it more. Remember how it worked? If an attacking enemy uses a skill that is the same as a skill used by the last attacking team member, then you can reflect it."

"Oh, right, that's how it worked."

"How could I forget THAT? I used it to beat Mitsuru, and yet..."

"Let's be glad that Philemon remembered it, though."

Madran then sat down and nodded.

"Well, that's cool. Let's wait for everyone to arrive, and then continue on."

Madran then sat with everyone until the remaining three team members arrived.

"Ok, guys, today, we're looking entirely for that source. I know that the new timeline may be cool, but we need to deal with it, quick."

"Yeah, I'm not in the mood to have to deal with that crap."

The group then got up and went to the Universe door, where they re-entered the Red Sprite to find that the bridge was in a state of tranquility that they didn't see yesterday.

"Wow, there's absolutely nobody here."

"I believe that I can transport everyone to the terminal we found yesterday, if we wish for that."

"Yeah, let's do that. Maya, Sheila, Rosana, hang on."

Philemon then took everyone to the terminal that they stopped at the last time, with Madran looking around and scanning the area.

"Yeah, I'm not getting any signals of the strike team. They must all be asleep or something."

"That would make sense. Welp, that means more time for us! Let's move."

Madran then began to guide her group through Fornax, with them eventually coming across a wall that Madran walked towards.

"Hey, something's up with this wall. Like, it's there, but the path says to go right on through."

"Try scanning the wall, then."

"Ok..."

Madran scanned the wall, with it turning into a door.

"Ooh, nice call, Plague."

The group then went through the door and immediately ran into a few demons, of which were a Clotho and an Atropos. Madran then knocked the Atropos down with an Agidyne, with her then Baton Passing to Maya, who knocked the Clotho over with a Diamond Dust.

"Ok, nice job! All-Out Attack!"

The group then finished the demons with an All-Out Attack and continued onwards.

"So, Madran, how many floors does this place have?"

"We're on the first bottom floor, so we have four more until the big fight with whoever's causing the timeline mess-up. Also, it may just be me, but I'm picking up yet another demon quickly approaching us."
