Chicory awaited the return of both Elia and Madran from either work or school, which brought about a rather long time spent talking with Yorick. The conversations varied greatly, but always circled back to what was to occur once he was able to access the Velvet Room.

"Are you ready to do this? If I'm correct, then Elia'll be back in five minutes."

"Maybe."

"Do you have any other things you want to talk about?"

"Nope. Who we bring with?"

"Oh, right, that. Hmm, perhaps, Philemon?"

"Ooh, ok."

Chicory thought about what Philemon could contribute to his situation, going over the variety of personas he could use.

"Hellhound said no help, though."

"Yes, but, in my memory, Philemon had access to many abilities to buff us. For example, Heat Riser."

"The rainbow?"

"Yes."

Eventually, during their scheming, Elia arrived back, with Chicory immediately running up to her.

"Hey, little guy, what's up."

Chicory did his best to motion towards Madran's room, with Elia appearing to understand.

"The... the Velvet Room? Wait, is this about Hellhound's challenge?"

Chicory did his best to emulate a nod, with Elia smiling and taking him to the Velvet Room.

"Hey, Philemon, Chicory was rather eager to come here, so, can you watch over him for a moment?"

"Yes, it's no problem to me. Have a good day, Elia, and, when do you want him back?"

"I feel like when he wants to go back. Um, due to a few events yesterday, Chicory's due a confrontation with his shadow."

"Ah, I see."

Elia then left, with Philemon walking to the Mementos door and opening it. Then, Chicory nudged him through before going in himself and immediately summoning Yorick.

"Philemon, can we ask you for a favor?"

"Y-Yes, what is it?"

"Hellhound says that I have to face him alone, but can have one support. Can you be that?"

Philemon appeared to think for a moment before nodding.

"Yes. Also, are you sure? Yudhishthira's weaknesses are both Bufu and Mudo."

"Well... you can swap personas, yes?"

"Most of my other personas, aside from Hariti, are attack-based. I am more than capable at avoiding those attacks, but, please, keep that in mind."

"Ok, sure. Now, have you or the Velveteers seen where Hellhound has been?"

"No. We should look around some, and that may draw him out."

Yorick nodded, and the duo started down the rails. Philemon then took a skill card out and slipped it to Yorick.

"Here. This is better than Deadly Fury."

Chicory began to look through Yorick's view, and saw that the card read "Myriad Slash." Yorick then tore it and looked down to Chicory.

"We're getting rid of Deadly Fury, but, according to Philemon, this thing's better. Is that ok?"
