Behind the Scenes

August 30th

Madran arrived back from home after school and met up with Elia and Chicory.

"So, mom, how's your day going?"

"It's going very well. Chicory and I had a nice walk today, and I've been able to finish a book I've been reading forever."

"That's fun. Well, I'm glad that school's over."

"Yep. Hey, are we still maintaining the current two teams?"

"Yeah, I believe so. A lot of the things that my group's doing have to do with keycards, which take awhile to get."

"I see. Well, shall we head out?"

"Yeah, sounds good."

Madran, Elia, and Chicory then all went to the Velvet Room, with Madran waiting for all of her group to arrive before speaking up.

"Ok, everyone, today, we're still keeping our current teams. Does anyone have a problem with that?"

Upon seeing that nobody was speaking up, Madran nodded.

"Ok, then, let's get going."

Everyone then went back to the Metaverse, with both teams splitting up and being transported to their respective Safe Rooms. Then, Madran got with her team.

"So, do we still have our keycards from yesterday?"

Everyone brandished their EM-level keycards, with Madran nodding.

"Ok, good, let's get going."

The group then went to the final door and all opened it with their keycards and went forwards to find an elevator, which opened once Madran scanned her card onto it. Then, everyone got in as Madran looked at the control panel.

"Ok... which floor should we go to?"

Madran saw that all of the floors were basement levels, and picked the first one. Then, the group waited for the doors to reopen again before stepping out to a large, warehouse-like room with what looked to be completed products sliding by on many conveyor belts.

"Wow, this is massive..."

"Could this be where all of those products being made by those robots are going to?"

"That would make sense, to be honest."

The group then walked forwards in the seemingly gargantuan room, with Madran feeling like they'd never make it to the other end.

"Ok, well, prepare yourselves, because we've got company."

Madran spotted a few shadows approaching them before they transformed into three Scathachs and one Decarabia. Madran started off by eliminating the Decarabia with a Megaton Press, which allowed her to Baton Pass to Sheila, who eliminated the shadows with an Everlasting Resplendence. 

"Well, they were a threat, but now we're good. Let's get looking around, guys."

Madran then scanned the area, picking up several key points around the room of note to her group. Upon reaching the first one, Madran saw that it was a bridge that crossed over two conveyor belts in the floor.

"Ok, the path leads over this thing. Any questions?"

"Shouldn't you do a big scan so that we know what's up ahead?"

"Sure."

Madran then sat still and scanned over the entire room, with her detecting many conveyor belts to cross across as well as several robots and shadows in their way.
