Working With Phantoms

Madran had arrived back from school, and wanted to check out the palace again. After she rallied everyone and convinced Philemon, the group headed out to Madarame's palace once more.

"What makes you think that the door will 'work?'"

"Well, remember last time, how Yudhishthira got it to budge slightly? It's probably just locked or jammed really well."

Madran and the rest entered the Metaverse, and Madran summoned Nightingale.

"Ok, let's see, let's do the same route that we did last time. Gosh, we need to find a Safe Room. Oh, hey, Akira's group is here. Let's go."

Madran led the group to the entrance and entered the creepy painting room. Then, she ran over to the door and looked at it.

"Hey, it appears slightly more open. Hey, Nightingale, help!"

Madran and Nightingale both rammed the door in unison, and it flew open, which launched both of the involved through the entrance.

"Oh, my shoulder... um, anyways, see? It works."

Wysteria waltzed through the door.

"Oh, look, more paintings."

"And a few shadows."

Madran snuck around, with the group following behind. Then, they found a shadow, and Madran jumped it. The shadow then turned into two blue-feathered birds with lion heads that were quite large and a Nebiros.

"Ok, Nightingale, gimme a scan!"

Madran scanned the new shadows, with her coming up with results in the usual quick fashion.

"Alrighty, these things are called Anzus! Anzu is weak to gun and Frei, blocks Zio, and reflects Garu. Hey, Clown, do your thing!"

Chicory directed a Mafreila at the shadows, which did normal damage to the Nebiros but knocked both Anzus over. Sheila then hit the Nebiros with a Kougaon, which also knocked him over.

"Hey, Butterfly, Rumor, do you want to recruit any of them?"

"Nah, let's end them."

Madran nodded and had the group direct an All-Out Attack at the shadows, which killed them.

"Ok, good job, everyone. Let's go!"

Madran began to maneuver between even more paintings of Madarame's past pupils, with them creating a sort of maze with how they were set up. However, eventually, they made it to another exit, with them making it to a type of main entrance.

"Ok, so, there are two shadows right next to each other. Um..."

Madran began to think about what she should do, until she heard someone shout something and saw Arsene and Carmen appear from nowhere and light the room up. Then, both of the shadows transformed into a few Mokois and a few Hua Pos and chased after the personas. Madran then contacted Akira.

"Hey, where are you?"

"Across the hall. I can see you from where I am."

Madran looked up to see Akira hanging upside-down from a girder near the ceiling. The rest of his group stood around him and fired down at the shadows, which halted the Mokois and knocked the Hua Pos down.

"Hey, these guys are weak! Madame, do your thing!"

Wysteria, taking advantage of the slightly altered jumping strength that everyone had, leapt into the crowd of shadows.
