September 25th

Madran spent the next week recovering from the entire day she had spent in the Vortex World with her team. Fortunately, somehow, the timelines had become severed, which led Madran to believe that the ritual Hikawa had been preforming was the true culprit, as she had suspected. Meanwhile, back in her own world, exams were fast approaching, and this, added on with Madran constantly looking out for the people Louisa Ferre had warned her about, made that week rather busy. However, even though the seven days since the 18th had been varying degrees of mental trouble, she still found time to return to form and take on requests in Mementos with varying members of her team. The 25th was no exception, for it was a Sunday.

"So, Philemon, guess what we're doing today."

"I see. You've been quite the busy little persona-user, hmm?"

"Yeah."

Madran was in the Velvet Room with Philemon and Chicory. The Velveteers appeared to be busy with something in a corner of the room, which allowed for Chicory to sit where Margaret normally was.

"So, Madran, do you want to call on any more help, or do you just want us to go?"

"Uh... I'm having a good feeling, so let's just go with us three."

"Sure. Plus, be sure to get back home soon after we finish so that you can study."

"I know, I know. Gosh, time's kinda snuck up on me, huh?"

Philemon chuckled and turned his tablet on, with Madran shifting over to be next to him as they both looked at the website where the requests appeared.

"Wow, there's not much going on today."

"That's probably because we've been doing everyone's requests for the past week. Let's see... hmm, there's this one going on about someone who runs an arboretum."

"Oh? Wait, THE arboretum?"

"Hmm?"

"Uh, that place I take everyone to occasionally."

"Ah, let me see... the person describes it as 'that popular greenhouse place in Shibuya.'"

"Ok, so, wow. Anyways, who's being bad?"

"This person known as Dieri. Apparently, she's the owner of it."

"Yeah, but you haven't told me what she's been doing."

"Fine, let's see."

Philemon scrolled down on the post, with Madran reading the next part out.

"Ok, so, it seems that she's been overcharging everyone and, like, marking up everything. When asked why she's doing so, it appears that she says something about the alignment of the stars, or some wacky stuff about tarot cards?"

"Interesting. She might be one of those people who are addicted to divination."

"Huh?"

"Have you seen, say, those ads for a free star reading to determine your fate, such as a horoscope?"

"Wait, is she one of those people who are crazily addicted to horoscope stuff?"

"It seems so. I don't know what tarot cards have to do with a horoscope, though."

"Well... me neither. I just think they look cool."

Philemon shot Madran a slightly disappointed look before turning the tablet off.

"Well, let's go and check her out in the Metanav."

Madran then took her phone out and turned the Metanav on.
