Working With Phantoms

The Grand Vault

June 24th

Madran arrived back in the Velvet Room to see that Wysteria, Philemon, Suga, and Rosana were there. On top of that, Madran saw Shadow Wysteria staring at her counterpart intently.

"This is going to be an awkward next few days..."

"So it may seem. Shadow Wysteria doesn't seem to be hostile, at least."

Madran then sat down next to Suga.

"So, how's everyone today?"

Shadow Wysteria then grinned as Wysteria spoke up.

"I could be better. My back's been really annoying."

The group then chatted more while Madran watched Shadow Wysteria with a spare eye until everyone else arrived, and the group set off for the Metaverse. Once there, Madran looked around at the vault area and sighed.

"Goodness, I can't wait to finish this palace. Well, anyways, who wants to be in my group?"

Wysteria and Suga joined Philemon for a second time.

"Hey, you can't do that twice!"

"They have important business to speak of with me. Farewell."

Philemon, Suga, and Wysteria then left and went down the vault area, vanishing from view. Then, once Madran led everyone down to where she saw them, they were gone.

"Um... where'd they go?"

Madran then scanned.

"Uh, just down the stairs over there. Ooh, and Joker's here, too."

Madran then led everyone through the first layer of the vault and down into a basement area which appeared to be a jumble of hallways once Madran created a map thanks to Dharma's scans.

"Ok, so, let's see..."

Madran pointed around at several dots.

"So, the dark red dots are shadows. Then, the dots all clustered are us. Um, Butterfly, Madame, and Plague are the yellow, black and white, and green dots, while Joker's group is the other cluster of dots ahead. Um, I feel that we have to go down this way in order to get somewhere."

Madran traced on the map towards a large grey circle a ways away from them. Madran then noticed that Akira's group were moving towards it.

"Ok, well, let's get going!"

The group began to move forwards, with Rosana speaking up.

"Hey, Beauty, what was up today? Like, you were all stressed and stuff at lunch and were very quiet, which isn't much like you."

Sheila sighed.

"Well, there's been this one guy who's been acting all annoying and stuff. Um, I think he was part of the volleyball team before we ousted Kamoshida."

"Well, if that were so, you would've been very vocal about it, and we would be in the limo in Mementos."

Sheila sighed.

"Well, I-"

"Hold that thought, there are two shadows nearby. Like, really close to one another."

Madran then snuck up to one of the shadows and jumped it. However, the other shadow noticed and also transformed, which ended up with the group facing three Kudlaks, two Toubyous, and two Ouroboroses.

"Well, this is a dilemma! Everyone, get ready to fight!"

Maya then summoned Artemis, who did immense damage via an Asteroid Bomb. Then, Sheila hit one of the Ouroboses with a Marin Karin, who then proceeded to utilize a Mabufudyne on its team. After that, Rosana hit one of the Kudlaks with a Makajam, which caused white rings to orbit around it.
