Waking up the the feeling of being poked is not a pleasant thing. without knowing who was poking me i instinctively punched out hoping to knock the culprit out.
" shit Sarah that hurt" came Max's reply then shuffling to get away "why are you in my room this early! its a Saturday nitwit"i growled out " yeah it is but its almost noon you grouchy heathen. for moons sake get up and brush your teeth, i'm dying over her and my wolves already passed out from the toxins" Max laughs then pulls my blankets off and picks me up throwing me over his shoulder.
Despite my protest and flinging of bare legsor banging on his back, did nothing to faze him until i decided to smack his butt. he immediately dropped me on the floor and to my dismay the hard and cold tile really didn't help my already sore muscles.
" ouch, that hurt jerk!" " pshh u ask for this acting like a barbarian and i charge to touch those intimate places, but hey since i got to see you naked last night i guess ill accept that as payment!" winking at me i lunged for his legs knocking him down next to me, i climbed over him.
"your right, now its my turn! " knowing i would win this battle i proceeded to tear at his shirt. "stop it you pervert! Nonnononoooooooo!" frantically swatting at my hands i managed to tear his shirt into and expose his abs. from there i went for his sweat pants before i could get a good grip however Sophie's scream had us both freezing in place.
Pulling my hands away from his waistband in a rush, i put my hands in the air " Sophie this is not what it looks like!" before either of us could defend ourselves she was out the door and down the steps " mommmmaa" she screamed. 'HA NOW WHAT WAS THAT ABOUT US BEING ON OUR BEST BEHAVIOR SARAH?'
Dammit i grumbled laying my head down on Max's bare chest i blew out a deep breath. his hand made its way to my head as he stroked my head.
"As much as im enjoying my beautiful woman on top of me and her breathing on my chest i think we should probably go find the twerp before the pack hears that she caught us fucking"lifting my head i smiled at him "yeah im sure they already heard, wait YOUR beautiful woman? im just another notch on your bedpost anyway."
At my comment he placed his hand on each side of my face and replied sternly" you will never just be a notch to me Sarah, your fire and ice all wrapped into a beautiful trouble making package that ill be damned if someone treats you that way" the sincerity in his statement and finality to his tone had me blushing and looking away from his heated stare.
Before i could reply Millie came rushing in "Ill be damned! Really Sarah not only warrior Bruce but now my brother too! whats gotten into you!" pushing me off her brother she snatched his arm and drug him to the door " wait you fucked warrior Bruce?" Max slapped his arm away from his sister and turned to me with a glare.
Picking myself up off the floor i snapped back at Millie " I never fucked him Millie! my father walked in on us in combat training, just like Sophie just walked into us roughhousing! Im still a Virgin for Moons Sake!" exhausted already, i wanted to go straight back to bed.
Millie looked embarrassed as she stepped closer to me and opened her arms for a hug. i quickly accepted and she apologized profusely.
"Look Sarah, im sorry it just stung that you hadn't told me, its ok if you do with Bruce just not my brother okay. i don't want you catching something" we started laughing, Max stepped closer and smacked Millie on the arm " Stop telling people that! You act like im a man whore!" he growled "oh you are! You get more action than a strip club booth!" smacking him back Millie yelled. leaving them to bicker i decide to take Max up on his request to brush my teeth.
After i swished water to rinse out the mouthwash i made my way to the closet. picking a simple maroon sweater dress and thigh high black boots with black leggings underneath i came back out to the bathroom where the twins where still arguing.
"Guys can y'all go elsewhere to continue the battle of whose the bigger whore, i haven't had my coffee yet" ignoring me the twins continued on but Millie did move toward the bedroom. i let my hair fall loosely down my back and applied my eyeliner, mascara and lip gloss. finishing up i opened my mind link to father telling me to meet him in the conference room. well here goes the big talk on behavior and etiquette i knew i would be getting soon.
Stopping by the kitchen on my way to conference room i grabbed a banana and bottle of water after telling the twins where i was off to. Max acknowledged me with a wink and Millie a nod but continued there bickering down the stairs to the kitchen as well. Knocking lightly on the door i was met with multiple pairs of eyes and i shuffled into the room. I knew a few faces but caught the eyes of Beta Evans and had to take a big bite of banana to control the snarl threatening to explode from me. following my fathers motions for me to sit across from my mother i continued to look around the room.
My father was standing "Now that we have all arrived let us begin ". As you are all aware my daughter will be 18 this coming weekend and her mother and i have decided to throw a ball. We will be inviting all the courts along with extending an invitation to the princes and princess of each kingdom along with their betas. of course this is in hopes of my daughter finding her mate." Smiles greeted me as i looked around the room, some more friendly than others.
"Alpha King Samuel i mean no disrespect " rolling my eyes 'OH HERE IT COMES, HOW DO THEY NOT EXPECT IT TO BE OFFENSIVE WHEN YOU START OF LIKE THAT' i agree Sadie, the man i did not recognize continued "it is rumored that your daughter has a sexual relationship with one of your betas along with your top warrior and personal body guard. while she is a beautiful she-wolf and of the perfect bloodline, most Alphas prefer her pure, are we believe she already has a mate she has rejected?"
Before i could defend myself my mother kicked me under the table and gave a stern warning glare, however the little trouble maker i am i couldn't keep quiet "I most certainly do not have a sexual relationship with Anyone and have not met my mate yet to determine my rejection of him or her."
I added " while i do appreciate the education on alphas and there preferences im sure the remark was meant for females to remain abstinent and not for males. "i am well aware that the rules are different for princess and i do abide by them."
'DAMN GIRL, I COULD NOT HAVE SAID IT MORE PROFESSIONALLY' KUDOS' thanks Sadie i did my best to control our rising temper.
A few murmurs surrounded the room but i didn't miss the still predatory and creepy grin of Beta Evans at my announcement on purity. 'I SURE WOULD LIKE TO CASTRATE THAT BASTARD' you and me both girl.
" well you've heard my daughter, thank you for your time and we appreciate your swiftness to relay the invitations to the appropriate parties. good day to you all the meeting is adjourned." my fathers booming voice had them all nodding and thanking him for his time while exiting the room.
Beta Evans leaned in to whisper to the man who had called me out and they exchanged a handshake before also making there way out. i jumped as my father leaned in close to my ear to whisper "id like to castrate that man if he looks at you like that again" laughing i nodded my head and whispered back " Sadie and i both say the same".
