I opened the door breathing heavy as i shook in nervousness, i kept my hand covering my mark as i eased the door closed behind me facing them. I moved to the window seat i spent so many hours sitting in staring at the moon. I looked out as i took another unsteady breath.

I heard the shuffle of feet when i turned around both males where staring at me expectantly. "Promise me you both will stay here, promise me you will hear me out before you leave." I spoke softly and barely kept the quiver from my voice as i waited for them to speak.

They exchanged a look i couldn't decipher when Sebastian stepped closer to me "We will hear you out my queen, just tell us whats wrong. They announced you had an accident but you don't seem to hurt, what happened after i left you in the barn?"

I sighed and looked away from his gaze to Kovue who stood with his arms crossed by my bedside staring at me. "I.. um" I stammered as i kept my hand covering my mark.

"After you left me, i went to feed Mystic. I had just poured her feed when a figure appeared in the doorway blocking my exit." I began as i looked between the two, both had gone stiff in posture and their eyes swirled dangerously. I moved towards the bedroom door in case they tried to leave i could atleast slow them down. I had a bad feeling one of them would loose their cool after i told them the truth.

They watched me as i leaned against the door, the light reflected in their eyes as they searched my face. "The figure was Max, i told him i had to go but he insisted i talk with him. We got into a heated argument when he tried to force himself on me and i knocked him over and ran for the barn door." Both were breathing heavily now and i could see their anger as they fisted their hands. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea to tell them by myself.

"You both promised to stay calm, if you don't i wont be able to finish." I wiped my eyes as tears streamed down my face, their anger was upsetting me more than what had happened to me.        Kovue breathed out of his nose with a small growl and nodded his head as he patted Sebastian on the shoulder.

Once they had seemed to calm down a little i started again. "Max caught me before i could make it to the door, he attacked me. He marked me." I pulled my hand from my shoulder and Kovue let out a loud growl "Im going to kill him" He moved towards the door and i stood tall shaking my head no.

He growled at me again "Just listen to me please" I began to sob as i slid down the door, the disappointment in Sebastian's eyes was more than i could bare. "I am so sorry, i tried to leave. I had no way of knowing he would do this. I am so sorry" I cried as i held my face in my hands.

A few seconds passed as the silence  echoed around the room as i sobbed. "My queen" Sebastian sighed as he pulled my hand from my eyes and wrapped his hand in mine. "It is not your fault that this happened. I should never have left you alone, If anyone is to blame it is me. I let you get hurt again, i don't deserve you."

I shook my head at him as i wiped a few more tears away, he pulled me to my feet and wrapped me in his arms in a comforting embrace. I Felt Kovue behind me as he rested his hand on my waist as he spoke in a light tone in my ear "It is not your fault, nor is it yours Sebastian. Sometimes the weak prey on the innocent and you Mo Stor are to good for this life. We still want you and will fight for you, we will get through this."

I turned in Sebastians arms to give Kovue a hug as Sebastian spoke next. "I do feel responsible brother, i agree with you though, Sarah we still want you and will fight for you."

I wiped my tears as i stepped away placing a hand on each of the beautiful, faithful and strong males in front of me. "There is more, if your willing to listen." Both nodded at me and i continued with a breath "The council has given me a choice, Max will compete in the games and if he wins we are to honor his mark. However if he looses he is to be killed by his opponent, my father has given me the choice to kill him now or during the games should he loose. The mark ties part of me to him and it will bring me immense pain if he is killed. "
