Chapter 28-Desert or Dessert?

After our initial introduction, Luna Queen Thalissa Zane showed us to an amazing villa on the coastline. I wasn't aware there was a coastline since all the places i had seen had been sand. The villa itself was extravagant in everyday, the designer had spared no expense as i was informed this was the Alpha King and Luna Queen's personal home. They had decided to live apart from the others and had the pack house a few minutes away. 

It was quite interesting learning about the different packs ways of life. From there rules and regulations to the diversity in wolves or people however you might think of us Lycans. The Large windows of the villa gave a wonderful view of the waves crashing against the bank. There was not a beach per say, mostly just rocks but there where few sandy places to reach the water. 

Standing under the pergola off the back french doors, my body leaned against the railing as i took in the view. The smell of the salt was a bittersweet reminder of my victorious fight in the Shadow Pack. My wolf and myself felt very proud of our accomplishment ,despite the wolves we angered, it counterbalanced once the others heard of me. 

Feeling eyes on me i turned my head slightly catching movement on my left. I instinctively moved to the right and a blur of sandy fur rushed by me. I crouched ready to shift and pounce at the wolf who dared, when a voice behind me caught my attention. 

"Princess Sarah, Excuse my brother he apparently lost his mind along with manners." I recognized the voice to be the prince i had ogled in the last meeting. He strolled over to me and held out his hand in greeting. I looked back briefly to see the sandy wolf sit down and cock his head at us. 

"Ah Hello Prince Theo, its so nice to see you again." He only smirked in response as he pointed to the wolf behind me. "That is Theo Princess, we have not had the pleasure to meet yet. I Am Teo, his identical twin." i stilled at that and looked him over, how odd was this now not realizing there was two.

Strong high cheek bones, tan silky skin, black medium length hair along with the yellow eyes i was captivated by. His body was lean with muscle and his white button up complimented his skin nicely pared with dark wash jeans and brown boots. 

He chuckled at me as he to began to scan over my body, starting at my eyes and moving down then back up. He nodded appreciatively and the wolf named Theo behind me yipped. I glared at them, crossing my arms over my chest. Not realizing the maneuver pushed my chest out, until his eyes changed to a darker yellow almost golden. 

Lust was clear in his eyes so i dropped my hands clearing my throat and sticking my hand out in greeting. He tilted his head and grabbed my hand giving it a firm shake. 

"We were actually wondering if you might fancy a little hunt with us. We are about to leave if you would like to join us?" His voice was hopeful as he looked over his shoulder to his brother who was wagging his tail but still in the seated position on the sand. 

" I would love to join, my wolf would like a breather anyway. Let me just okay it with my father and guards." As i linked my father i noticed Teo disappear behind a rock, reemerging in wolf form identical to his brother.  Getting the okay with my father but to be back before dark and to allow a guard to accompany me. 

Going behind the same rock to shift i folded my clothes and set them next to Teos, taking in his watermelon sugar scent. I smiled thinking he smelled like summer and i rather enjoyed it. Stepping out and shaking my fur i followed the boys to the edge of the sand where a few brush piles where visible, along with cactus plants and trees i had never seen. 

The heat was getting to us as i was panting and my fur even felt sunburned. The twins didn't seem fazed one bit as we trotted along. Meanwhile my feet where on fire from the scorching sand, i just wanted to hide in the little shade i could see beyond the brush we where approaching. Obviously my fur was like a beacon for light to reflect, i felt like a disco ball, only a really hot one.
