Chapter-40 Hypnotic

Sarah POV~

Floating, cold, liquid, painless....

The current emotions im feeling. I Don't want to come back down, i feel like i have been hypnotized..im free floating under the sea. 

Ha i rhymed...i opened my eyes and watched as they circled me, surrounded me, these dark disfigured vultures. They want to break me and wash away all of me..i just might let them. Maybe then i will be okay. I just want this pain to go away. 

I opened my mouth letting the excess air remove from my lungs and the demons of the water grabbed hold of me. 

I was more than ready to let them take me, i had no one to fight for me. I had no one to fight the demons away i needed a savior, that was impossible.  

Stupid girl...the voices whispered as i was wrapped in darkness as the demons pulled me further from the light.

Sebastian POV~

It has been a long few weeks, i was utterly exhausted from the constant back and forth of the witches and council members. They were all just as unnerved as i was since my report of the acidity and viles found in the warehouse by the docks. 

I am currently sitting in the small makeshift office i made beside Kalil's liquid cell. After the witch came back from gathering supplies she scolded me for not being nude. i had thought she was joking, in my defense it was a very odd request. 

I had made Carter stay with me as we where made to undress in front of her. Kalil groaned beside us as she chanted a few words. She sliced her palm with a small dagger she pulled from her side. She made her way towards us as we knelt down over the coal made bowl in front of us. 

A royal and a noble this will do well she smiled evilly. She had told us it would only work to mix our bloods at a chance to neutralizer the poisons along with a few other odd ingredients, from a dead mans toe, which was in a large supply since there was dead everywhere.  She also wanted a fang from each species with our blood. We gave her what she asked from a few that had past away in the war. 

We had to save them, no matter the cost. As i and Carter leaned over the bowl in front of us she sliced each our palms with the knife and chanted a few ancient words neither of us understood. After i had explained the situation to Carter he agreed to do anything to help. He was a loyal wolf, i must tell Kovue of this as soon as he is awake. 

Kalil was in the worst shape as far as his wound and he had been missing so long, we decided he would need to be out first and attended to. I winced as the cut burned, the liquid poured from our palms as the bowl started to mix on its own. 

Her white hair stood straight up and she looked to the sky as she held her hands up in praise. we remained nude bleeding from our palms as she had our hands in a fist over the bowl. Fire shot high causing us both the jump away from the bowl only to be held in place by an invisible force. We both struggled growling out as we tried to free ourselves, Shakara walked around us sliding her bloody palms around our shoulders. 

She dipped her hand into the bowl of her concoction as she smeared it across my body and drew small designs, after she was satisfied i was covered with it, she proceeded to do the same to Carter. He snapped at her and she flicked his nose saying "Bad dog, you stay still or your alphas will die," 

We both growled at her but she continued her work, Carter gave a string of curses to her as she rubbed all over his chest. She seemed to be thoroughly enjoying her work as she licked her lips and purred to him. I still didn't understand why we had to be nude, shirtless i would have understood even just our boxers. We were already covered in blood so that excuse wouldn't have sufficed.
