Over the last few weeks i have grown closer to Kovue, i have been trying to keep my feelings at bay. His deep baritone voice always sends a shiver down my spine of pleasure and my mind goes straight to the naughtiest of ideas. Thankfully at least i think, Sebastian has resumed our playful banter and helped cool my fantasy with Kovue.

Sebastian has been doing well with running his realm and feels confident enough to leave it to his brother and come to my graduation then the games. We haven't talked as much about the games or what will happen afterwards.

He did mention a long while ago that if he wins the games he will have his brother take over so he can be here. My pack doesn't seem to thrilled with the possibility of a hybrid for king but it is up to the games to determine the leader not them. They will have to accept it if it is the moons plan.

I missed getting to chat to him so much, he was one of my best friends now and has kept me going when i wanted to quit. I am currently getting ready for prom with the girls in Millie's room. I had decided to go alone until Santos practically begged me to go with him. He is such a sweet guy so i agreed.

His plan was to cute to ignore anyway. He had the schools cheer-squad come up with a dance routine while he rapped, telling me how pretty i was and if i broke his heart to let him down easy while asking me to go with him. At the end of the dance he had gotten down on one knee with a bouquet of red roses with a will you go to prom with me glitter card.

All the girls swooned and i laughed not being able to say anything so i just nodded and kissed his cheek while taking the flowers. He looked like a kid in a candy shop bouncing around for the rest of the day and winking or smiling at me whenever he would see me.

Max was going with Vicky and Millie was with another warrior. Gezara had already graduated so she was helping us get ready. She did have a magical talent after all for hair and makeup. After we all got dressed and headed out to the limo my parents had gotten for us, we blared the chick music enjoying the groaning males.

They shut up and allowed it and i couldn't help but feel Max's gaze on me as we all sang and bounced in our seats. I tried my best to ignore his heated stare and focused my attention on the girls, i needed to make memories with them and i would be dang if he was going to ruin that for me.

Arriving at the warehouse the council had agreed to rent out the outside fairly lights swayed in the spring breeze. Our hair ruffled as it blew buy us and Max's scent washed over me causing a shiver down my spine. I looked over to see his hooded eyes watching me like a predator.

I groaned and snuggled closer to Santos, i needed to keep my distance from Max. I still haven't answered him and i didn't want to give him hope, i thought i would always love him but wasn't sure if i should tell him that. Santos hugged me tighter as he helped me up the stairs in my heels, the silver 4 inch stilettos may not have been the best idea but i wanted to feel tall for once.

Walking into the hall i couldn't believe how well everything turned out, the mason jars with lights inside littered the ceilings and tables. The while table clothes with burlap bags over the top used as centerpieces paired with magnolia flowers gave a nice country theme.

I smiled as i watched my pack swaying to the slow songs and allowed Santos to tug me onto the floor, he was sweet and highly respectful. His hands never went lower than my back and he kept a nice distance between us to keep me comfortable. He watched me as we swayed with the music and smiled the whole time.

All in all i have to say the night was beautiful, there was no drama or fights or even an argument of any type. It was a blissful escape and i was exceptionally happy Max never came close to me or spoke to me the whole evening. Santos stayed close to me but didn't touch me unless i inched closer to him.
