Mount Justice
~~Emma~~
"Did Speedy join the Junior Justice League while I wasn't looking?" I asked Kaldur, staring dumbfounded at the caller ID on the cave's computer.
Kal at least attempted a grin at my sarcasm. "He required data from our computer earlier regarding the assassin Cheshire. Perhaps he needs more information."
He accept the call, and Roy's voice flooded the cave.
"Hey, it's me," there was a sheepish tone to his voice, "I may...possibly be in over my head."
"I'm sorry, what was that?"
Roy groaned. "Kal, don't tell me Finch is there too!"
"I'm here and I'm listening Speedy. Now what did you just say?" I repeated my question.
"I thought you were listening!"
"Enough," I blushed under Kaldur's scolding. "What is the situation?"
"Cheshire's attacking the Rhelasian peace summit, and she's backed by Sportsmaster and about half the League of Shadows under Ra's Al Ghul's command. They think that if they kill Luthor, it'll keep both Luthor from interfering with Ra's Al Ghul's plans and sabatoge the Rhelasian's fragile peace."
"We'll be right there!" Batman didn't want me to leave the cave except for missions until further notice, but this was a mission!
"Alright. And Finch-"
"It's Dragonfire now."
Roy sighed. "Bring my bow with you."

Outside the Rhelasian summit, the crowds had all disappeared. Inside was a press's field day, and only a few people could get access to the actual meeting on one of the top few floors of the building. Since Roy had some sort of partnership with Luthor at the moment, he pulled a few strings, and Kaldur and I found ourselves among the crowd watching the delegates from North and South Rhelasia banter back and forth.
"Our people have nothing in common anymore!" One of them summed it all up.
"Why are they even trusting Luthor?" I whispered to Kaldur, pushing the bridge of my sunglasses up my nose. "Luthor has shell companies selling weapons to both sides of Rhelasia."
"Perhaps, but for now, he seems to be trying to help them. And we would not want to let the League of Shadows succeed." Kaldur pointed out.
"Why don't we just put Luthor and Al Ghul in a room together, have them fight it out. That would take out two thorns in the League's side."
"I believe only Luthor would die in that instance."
"Still better than both of them being alive."
Though he tried to hide it, I caught the quick smile that flickered across his lips.
I gently elbowed his side. "You should smile more often."
I looked down at my watch, checking the feed from the security camera I'd painstakingly hacked. Luthor had called for the Rhelasian tea ceremony in hopes of pacifying the delegates, and the decorative serving girl pushing the cart towards the crowd and the table of representatives matched Cheshire's height and profile.
I nodded to Aqualad. He waited until the squeaking wheels of the cart were right behind us before he turned around, aiming one of his water bearers at her.
