Mount Justice

"Team, report to the mission room."

That was what interrupted my "date" with Kaldur. Tomorrow would be Valentine's Day, so the two of us had to do something together, but since Bruce would smell something suspicious if we were both MIA at the same time, we ended up watching a movie in my room at Mount Justice. Star Wars, to be exact.

"Really!?" I yelled at the PA, even though Batman couldn't hear me or reply. 

"Worst. Timing. EVER!" I tossed the remote at the humongous cliffhanger onscreen. It was probably a mistake to watch "Return Of The Jedi," because the Emperor was just about to electrocute Luke. By the look on Kaldur's face, he had gotten as invested into the movie as I usually am. But he wasn't about to disappoint Batman. I suppose, to someone who doesn't know him in his secret identity, he can be very scary.

"Come on..." Kaldur said with a grin. I made a pouty face and sat cross-legged on the bed, refusing to move. At least, until Kal picked me up and carried me towards the mission room.

"Okay, okay, I'll walk put me down," I said. Though I tried to sound stern, I couldn't keep from giggling at the happy expression on his face. 

He complied, but not after kissing my cheek. We walked to the mission room hand-in-hand, but quickly let go before Batman or anyone with him could see.

"No time to explain. Hide me," Willow darted over the moment we entered, hiding behind Kaldur.

"What happened?" I asked.

"I accidentally ate all of Wally's chicken whizzes," She admitted, "I need to hide so he doesn't kill me. I don't know why I ate them all, but I did, and now I know I'm gonna get it this time..."

"Oh Connor!" I shouted, cupping my hands over my mouth.

She went extremely pale, "What the heck are you doing?! I said hide me, not kill me from embarrassment!"

"Hey, he maybe M'gann's boyfriend, but he protects you like a little sister," I assured her with a wink. Her relationship with the "SuperMartian," as Robin and Zatanna came to refer to M'gann and Connor's relationship, had been a bit iffy since New Years, but it was clear that she wouldn't do anything to hurt M'gann if she could help it, and that included taking Connor from her.

"Ok, good point," Willow agreed through heavy breaths.

"What is it?" Superboy asked as he entered with M'gann and Raquel floating after him.

"Wally's after Willow." I told him, sounding much too happy for the situation.

"Again." Kaldur sighed. 

"Wally...." Connor said in a warning voice as the speedster dashed in, Artemis, Robin, and Zatanna right behind him. Willow squealed in terror and dove into the equipment closet.

Wally skidded to a stop at the look on Connor's face, a hafl-hearted death threat dying on the tip of his tongue. 

"IWASNTGONNAKILLHERISWEAR!!" Wally promised, looking like he was about to shrivel up under Connor's glaring gaze. 

"Enough," Batman commanded. Kaldur, Robin, M'gann, and Raquell immediately stood at attention like good little soldiers, and the rest of us followed slightly less willingly. Willow exited the closet, but stood close to Connor as we all obediently lined up to recieve our marching orders
