Mount Justice.

~~Willow~~

My head was throbbing terribly, and I could feel warm sheets wrapped carefully around me, and a soft pillow under my head. I could hear Canary's singing voice, and it was as soothing as a cool breeze in summer. Canary almost never sang though, so I knew I was dreaming. I listened quietly for a while, and then I opened my eyes, expecting it to stop, but to my surprise, it didn't. I was looking at a clean, white ceiling. I turned my head to the side, and to my surprise, Black Canary was settled in a chair by my side, but she wasn't looking at me. Her voice continued on in the same sweet melody I had picked up on earlier.

Don't you ever grow up, it could stay this simple
Won't let nobody hurt you
Won't let no one break your heart
And even though you want to, please try to never grow up
Oh, don't you ever grow up
Oh, never grow up, just never grow up...

Where was I, and how long had she been here? The song stopped, and I heard her sigh. She sounded very tired.

Then she looked at me, and at once, all weariness was forgotten.

"Willow!" She sounded delighted, and she took my hand in hers.

"Canary- Dinah?" I responded. My voice sounded odd and unused, "What happened? Where am I?"

"Shh..." she soothed, helping me to sit up, "You're in the Mount Justice infirmary. You passed out at Dragonfire's birthday, and we had to bring you back here. You've been out for a few hours. Got the whole team worried about you."

"My head hurts," I moaned, and I closed my eyes.

"Batman said to expect a few headaches," Canary told me sympathetically. "Would you like to see the team now?"

"Yes, please." I told her, opening my eyes again and accepting the glass of water from her.

A few minutes later, the door burst open. There, leading the pack was Emma who looked very tired, but very relived. Kaldur was on her right, Robin was to her left, and the rest of the team was behind them.

"WILLOW!" Emma cried, and she wrapped me in a bone-crushing hug.

"Hey-Dra-watch the ribs" I choked out, but I did return her hug. She let go after another second.

"We heard you passed out," Wally said, speeding over to my side, "are you sick again?" he put a hand to my forehead, obviously checking for fever.

"No I don't think I'm sick. And give me some space! Your breath smells like Chicken Whizzies," I scowled, and I put my hand over my sensitive nose. Just to irk me further, he exhaled extra hard before taking a step back.

"I'm glad you're alright."

My heart skipped a beat. I didn't need to see to know it was Superboy who had just spoken. I would know that voice anywhere. I felt my face grow hot with pleasure and embarrassment.

"Are you sure you're not sick? Wally might be onto something..." Artemis teased with a knowing look in her eyes.

"Shut up, Arty." I grumbled, but she knew full well I didn't mean it, so she merely gave me another teasing smile.

"How long do I have to stay here?" I asked Aqualad. As team leader, he was often the first to know of such things.

"You can leave at anytime you wish." He told me.

"Great, I'm going to take a proper nap in my own bed." I swung my feet out of bed, and I gave Emma another hug before retreating to my room.

I opened the door and I faced... Nothing. My room was completely empty, and only the bare furniture and painted walls remained.
