Mount Justice.
~~Willow~~
After Dragonfire ran from my room, I ran after her.
It's all my fault.
Those words pounded inside my head as I leaned against the wall for support. It was my fault. I had lost control in the mission. I had been the one who played hero, and died for it. I'd seen the look on Dragonfire's face. I hurt her
"Willow, are you alright?" I find myself in front of the therapy room, where Artemis was waiting her turn to see Black Canary.
"Well...not really..." I said quietly.
Artemis sighed, "Yeah, I guess none of us are completely alright, are we?" She smiled at me, before we heard yelling from inside the room. Superboy must be having one of his angry fits again. My point was proven seconds later when Connor stormed out of the room in a huff.
"What's got his shirt in a twist?" Artemis seemed to be asking me, but I did not understand.
"His clothes look perfectly un-twisted to me," I remarked.
Artemis slapped herself in the face, "Sorry, it's a figure of speech, I meant to ask what he's so mad about," She put a hand on my shoulder.
"I don't know what Connor's angry about, but I'm going to find out," I declared to Artemis as I watched Superboy turn the corner.
Artemis smiled, "You go do that. I have to go see BC." And with that she entered the therapy room.
I ran after Superboy, finding him in the garage as he grabbed his helmet and his motorcycle.
"Red Tornado, Hangar door!" He commanded as Wolf ran up to him.
"Where are you going?" I asked. Connor turned and Wolf barked happily at my approach, once more bounding forward and nearly knocking me over.
"Somewhere," Connor said. He faced forward and Sphere rolled in front of him.
"Sphere, out of the way!" Connor waved his arm to gesture to move.
Then Sphere began to transform. All I'm saying is that one second, Sphere was a round ball, and the next, it....unfolded, sort of, and became this huge motorcycle. Connor and I stared at each other in shock, but Wolf jumped right up to Sphere and hopped in the front seat.
"Mind if I tag along?" I asked, running a hand over Sphere's plush new seats.
Connor grinned, "I call steering." He took the backseat, with the highly advanced steering technology, and I jumped in the seat behind Wolf.
"Alright, let's see what you can do," I heard Connor whisper to Sphere. All of a sudden, we took off out of the cave at at a speed I had never felt before. And then, we were flying.
"Whoa!" Connor exclaimed in surprise and delight. Wolf howled with joy as the wind rippled through his fur.
"AAAAHH!!" I screamed, clutching the sides of the cycle as we climbed higher and higher in the air. I leaned forward and hugged Wolf tightly.
"Willow? You okay?" Superboy asked as Sphere flew along.
"Get me down from here. Get me down now." I insisted. Wolf barked at me, as if to ask where my sense of fun was, "I left it back at the cave, okay?" I snapped at him quietly. I stopped myself as I felt my attitude from earlier returning. I didn't want a relapse of what happened with Dragonfire.
"Willow, you've flown on the bioship, why is this any different?" Connor asked as Sphere went faster.
"Because at least I can't fall out of the bioship!" I squeezed my eyes shut.
