Mount Justice

That night, the team of Leauge proteges, partners, and friends gathered for a team dinner. Their first in months. They all worked so hard to make the food and set the table, but they all ended up eating on the couch anyway, crowding shoulder-to-shoulder and knee-to-knee.

"Okay," Dragonfire asked through a mouthful of chicken, "Willow and I were both out for two weeks. What happened?"

"Well, you won the lead role in our school's musical," Robin said nonchalantly, causing Dragonfire to nearly choke for the second time that day.

"I what?" She she squeaked. Wally and Artemis laughed at her reaction, "But I didn't even audition! How does that work?"

Robin looked at the ground sheepishly, "I may or may not have gotten Babs and Bette to help me record you singing while we played karaoke the last time she came over. I honestly didn't think you'd get that part." He admitted.

"Wow, thanks for the confidence boost." Emma drawled.

"Come on, Dra, that's amazing! Seriously," Willow told her encouragingly.

"But I have to sing, onstage, in front of people." Dragonfire groaned.

"You fight crime and you help take down bullies on the side, and you're too scared to go and sing onstage?" Willow's eyebrow went up a couple centimeters.

"Come on," Artemis said, shoving Dragonfire's knee, "I know you can do it!"

"We've all heard your voice, it's amazing!" M'gann agreed. Dragonfire continued to glare at the ground, even after Kaldur kissed her cheek.

Then Robin came up with a scrap of information that he knew might cheer up his sister, "There's also been a new vigilante showing up around Gotham. Calls herself 'Batgirl'."

Dragonfire was instantly alert, "Really? Do you know who it is?"

"Hmm...let's see..." Robin said sarcastically, "Who do we know who's close to crime, who has red hair...?" He knew that's be enough for her to guess.

"No way, Barbra?" Dragonfire's face lit up with a grin.

"That name sounds familiar...Have I met her?" Willow asked, pondering her own question as a clump of potatoes fell off her spoon.

Dragonfire leaned over and whispered to hide their IDs, "She was at my party, she helped Artemis defend you from Audrey."

"Oh," Willow said, recognizing the name and putting it with a face.

But of course, Artemis had to hear.

"Wait a minute, you're Emma Grayson?"

Robin and Dragonfire both stopped, their faces turning pale.

When she didn't deny it, Artemis turned to Robin, "That must mean you're Richard Grayson! And Batman is-"

"Bruce Wayne. Yeah," Wally finished for her, silently proud of his junior detective girlfriend.

 Willow grinned at Emma, "Busted."

Richard sighed in defeat, and he and Emma both took off their glasses. "There, happy?"

Everyone but Willow and Wally, who shared a high-five, stared in awe of the twins' sky-blue eyes.

"Dragonfire, you have the most beautiful eyes I have ever seen," Kaldur told her

Willow pretended to gag, but Emma knew she thought it was sweet too.

"Aw, Robin, don't be sad, I think your eyes are pretty too!" Zatanna shoved him playfully.
