"It was the same thing. The exact same thing that happened to Will last year." Nancy said, pacing around the basement at the Wheeler's house.

"And," she said, pointing to a record sheet for Mrs. Driscoll that Nancy took from the hospital where she visited her. "Look at this, look at the body temperatures."

Everyone leaned forward from the couch to look, seeing the temperatures that were extremely cold for someone's body.

"He likes it cold." Will nodded.

"Okay," Mike started. "So this crazy old lady who was eating fertilizer-"

"Mrs. Driscoll." Nancy interrupted.

"Right, yeah, Mrs. Driscoll. What time was the attack?" Mike asked.

"Last night." Nancy replied.

"Right, but what time last night?"

"Around nine."

"You waited all night to call?" Jonathan asked Nancy, shocked.

"I was waiting for the doctors to run some tests." Nancy answered slowly.

"You weren't there?" Will asked Jonathan.

"Well, I'm here now, aren't I?" Jonathan shrugged, lightly throwing his hands up. It was clear to Beth that something had happened between Nancy and him that she didn't know about. She mentally noted to ask her about it later.

"Hallelujah!" Nancy sarcastically smiled.

"Ooh." Lucas shuddered.

"Um, so, what time was your sauna test?" Nancy asked, getting back on subject.

"Around nine." Beth sighed with the rest of the kids, leaning her elbows on her knees.

"Well, that proves it. That proves my theory." Nancy inquired.

"She's flayed. Just like Billy." Mike said, sending a slight pang of pain towards Beth's heart. Hearing that made it seem more real, and that hurt.

"Flayed?" Jonathan asked, confused.

"The mind flayer- he flays people. Takes over their mind. Once they do that, they basically become him." Mike replied.
