Popo died, or when Ash's father died.
Gary: Well... it goes a little like this...
This was at my grandma's funreal, the one I hated. I changed my ringtone too Highway To Hell and I thought a turned off my phone, but it looks like I didn't. Later when they were talking about memories my phone had gone off and my ringtone was also on full blast.
Later on I was kicked out and was never to come to another funeral.
Dawn: no offense, but really, that was stupid.
Gary: I know but I didn't feel too bad.
Ash: THAT WAS BECAUSE YOU WERE A DICK WHO WAS ON HIS MAN PERIOD WHEN WE WERE TEN ANS WHEN I KICKED YOUR ASS IN POCKET MONSTERS.
Gary: AT LEAST I HAD THE LADIES.
