It was another boring day. They were out swimming, and I was stuck in the house. They bought me new crutches and told me not to go upstairs. Which sucked because that's the one place I wanted to be right now. I don't know why I was being like this, or why I felt the way I do, but I felt unwanted. I felt like I was just a burden to them because they wanted to have fun and I had to go and get myself hurt. Maybe they didn't need me. I glance out the back door, seeing them happily playing. Jonah was smiling fondly at Zach who was cradling Lavender to his chest. Gabbie, Jack and Corbyn were all cliff diving somewhere on the island. Perfect time to leave.

I crutch over to the door, sliding on my white vans. I open the door, glancing back at the two boys before leaving the house. I crutch away from the Airbnb and down the road. Eventually I make it to some shops.

"Would you like a water?" I glance to my left, seeing a man with a cooler full of water.

"Sure." He hands me a bottle and I go to grab my wallet but he just waved me off. I shrug, thanking the guy before chugging the water. I discard the empty bottle in a nearby trash can, glancing at the shops some more.

I feel like I've been gone for forever, but it's probably only been an hour. I continue to crutch down the road until a dirt road catches my eye. I shrug, taking that path instead. It leads me to a cliff with an amazing view. I set my crutches down as I slip off my shoes and sit in the edge. The last thing I need is to lose a shoe.

I stare out at the ocean, my thoughts wandering. I wonder if anyone even noticed I left. Probably not. I grab a rock, examining the smooth surface with my fingertips. Even the rocks in Hawaii were gorgeous. I toss the rock into the water, watching as it made a small splash. I was pretty high up from the ocean, so high that I'd probably break a bone if I jumped.

I glance at the horizon, watching as the sun starts to set. It was beautiful. I grab my phone from my pocket, seeing 10 missed calls from Corbyn, as well as another 6 from Gabbie. There was texts from the boys asking where I was and if I was okay, but I didn't respond. I want to be left alone. They only care about me because of the rescheduled show tomorrow.

I watch the sun sink beneath the horizon before glancing at my phone. I've been gone for 4 hours. I glance back at the view as tears form in my eyes. How was it that living with 7 other people leaves me feeling so alone?

I glance at my lap, twiddling my thumbs. It had gotten colder and I wasn't wearing a sweater. My phone buzzes and I glance at it.

"Hey guys. Um we usually don't bring this stuff to the public, but please if anyone has seen Daniel please let us know. He's been missing for almost 5 hours and we don't know where he is. We've looked in the shops, the house, and the beaches. We don't know where else to look." Jonah says, running a hand through his hair. He had a flashlight and the sound of grass crunching under his shoes was evident.

"He's on crutches and we don't want anything else happening to him. So please, please anything helps." You could hear Corbyn call my name in the background before Zach yells my name a lot closer.

The video ends and my lip begins to tremble. Maybe I should go back to the house... I glance behind me, lifting my feet from the edge. I turn towards my shoes and go to grab my crutches when I hear a twig snap. I gulp, glancing in the direction of the noise as I back up a little bit.

I watch silently as a boy walks into the clearing, sniffling and looking at his phone. He trips on my crutch, stumbling a little. His eyes land on the object, his breath catching in his throat as tears fall down his face even more. His eyes go to the second one, and then to my shoes before landing on me.
