Saturday Morning I woke up crying. I didn't do anything wrong. All I could think about was the silent ride home and how he didn't follow me to the door and kiss me goodnight on my door step while my mom peeks through the window.
I don't know what stunt he's trying to pull. Was he trying to have sex with me? Am I even ready? No. shouldn't be thinking about that stuff in high school.
I dragged my self out of my bed and took a shower. Hopefully I can wash the painful memory out of head.
When I finished I went downstairs to join my mom for breakfast. When I saw her I wasn't at all surprised. My mom was dressed in her scrubs, ready for work.
I didn't know you were going in today.
"Yeah it's getting pretty hectic in the hospital for the past few weeks. Ebola and all that." My mom is chief in nursing so when she's going to work and coming home on time I know it wont be long till her schedule gets all messed up.
Okay well be safe.
"Oh no. Tell me what happened last night, I want details." She demanded.
It was nice and simple. He took me to and Italian restaurant and then he took me to the park where we sat and looked at the stars and the moon.
She gasped. "Oh honey! I'm so happy for you."
Oh and he tried to have sex with me last night but other than that the night was magical. I decided to keep that in my thoughts.
"Okay I gotta go. I'll be getting home late today so I wont have to get up so early tomorrow."
Okay.
She gave me a kiss on the cheek. "Bye sweetheart." Then she left.
What's should I do today? Movies? Library? Park? Anything that doesn't involve Eli. I think I need a break from him for a few days.
After a few minutes of pondering I put my shoes, grab my keys, and head to my car. Maybe I need to see a good movie to lift up my spirits.
Unfortunately for me Halloween is tomorrow and most of the movies they had were horror movies. I guess I didn't plan this out well enough.
"Scarlette?"
I turned around and saw Tristan with another man his age trailing behind him.
Hey Tristan.
"What are you doing here? I thought you would be in church."
Church the day before Halloween? They would be extra religious don't you think? I'm here trying to catch a movie but they mostly have horror and I don' know if I want to see that.
He smiled. "Well as it just so happens to turn out that is exactly why we're here."
And who is we?
"Oh, my bad. Scarlette this is my best friend Evan. Evan this is one of my students, Scarlette."
"Hey." He smiled.
Hi.
"You should catch a movie with us. Horror movies are no fun to watch by yourself." He insisted. He had a mischievous smirk on his face, but I chose to ignore it.
Tristan's POV
We stood behind Evan as we watched him decided which movie to choose.
"I hope you don't mind, I promised him he could pick the movie." I said.
She shook her head and smiled. I notices how her natural wavy hair that perfectly framed her face bounced.
"What do you think man, Ouija or Annabelle?"
"Creepy haunted bored games or possessed dolls."
"You're right. Annabelle it is."
Scarlette tried to pay for her own ticket but I insisted that we'lI pay for it. Of course she wouldn't let me, but I refused to let her pay for her ticket.
After a few moments of our quiet bicker. She finally let me pay for the ticket but only if she got to pay me back.
I paid for the tickets and Evan paid for the popcorn. Evan insisted we get butter on it but Scarlette and I didn't like butter on our popcorn so we got two, one without butter for Scar and I and one with butter for Evan. Then we went into the theatre and waited for the movie to start.
I trying to ignore the warmth and tingly feeling from sitting so close to her. But I don't want to. This foreign feeling felt good. There is a real beauty in her. Her eyes, her hair, her smile, her perfect teeth, and the fact that she can't talk only highlights her chiming laugh.
The lights dimmed and the movie started.
Scarlette watching scary movies is probably my favorite thing in the world. When the scary parts came up She buried her face in my shoulder or clutched my arm out of fear. The contact would send shivers up my spine. My mind wasn't even on the movie. It was on her. I watched as she covered her eyes and laughed cause she couldn't scream.
When the movie was over and we walked out into the theatre lobby I noticed a tear escape her eye. I had no Idea the movie was that scary for her.
"Hey are you crying?" I stopped walking and wiped the tear from her cheek.
No. I was just laughing to much. Her perfectly full lips pulled up into a smile
"Hey Scar, wanna get some lunch with us?"
I looked at him. He never mentioned anything about getting lunch.
I think I should get home actually.
"Nonsense! Come on, you're really cool. Don't worry it's on me."
She nodded her head and smiled.
"Great! We can go to the diner up the street. You know the one?"
She nodded her head again.
"We will meet you there."
She started walking to her car.
"Dude what the hell-"
"Shh I'll explain when we get home, but right now we have a date."
(You guys whAT IS LIFE? You see that hot piece of shit on the side? Perfection :* wow this chapter was fun. What do you guys think? Any thoughts? Questions? I'm probably not going to include the lunch scene in the next chapter because the next chapter is really important cause it includes the whole point of the story.
Oh and just so you know I don't like scary movies at all so no I did not go and see Annabelle or Ouija. Okay hope you enjoy the chapter, happy Thursday!)
