Years After - Continues (Completed)

Prologue

Victor could not remove his gaze at the couple holding hands while walking towards him. Only two days ago, at the same time, he was very proud to watch Althea going up on stage to accept her diploma for senior high school. And a day after his eldest daughter's graduation day, she gladly introduced her boyfriend to them.

When Althea saw him sitting at the lanai, she let go of her hand from Thirdy and fastly walks to Victor and greeted him. "Hi, Dad!"

"Good afternoon, Sir." Thirdy also politely greeted the eldest of the Monteiro brothers.

"Saan kayo galing?" Victor seriously asked.

"Dad, nagpaalam ako sa iyo kanina. Sabi ko pupunta kami ni Thirdy sa school to complete our clearance." Althea replied.

"I know, but what I mean is, what took you so long? Kaninang umaga pa kayo umalis. Bakit ngayon lang kayo bumalik?" Victor again asked.

"We waited for our teachers to arrive." Althea casually replied.

"Para ka namang bago nang bago, Love. Ganyan naman lagi kapag clearance time na, some of the teachers were hard to find." They heard a sweet voice speaks.

"Good afternoon po." Thirdy greeted Laura.

"Hello, Thirdy. Thank you sa pagsama mo kay Althea to complete her clearance." Laura said.

"Bakit si Althea lang ba ang nagpa-clearance today?" Victor asked.

"Sabay kami, Dad. Ang ibig lang sabihin ni Mommy, Thirdy does not need to come with me sa pag-asikaso ng clearance ko since he has to complete his , too, but he choose to come with me instead." Althea happily replied.

"Are your schoold requirements for Italy all set?" Victor asked.

"Almost, Dad. Since I already completed my clearance I can get my school documents in three days." Althea replied.

"In three days? But we are leaving for Batangas the day after tomorrow." Laura commented.

"I'll take care of that, ako na lang ang magpapakuha sa school nyo nung mga required documents mo for Italy." Victor said.

"No need, Dad. Thirdy volunteered to get it for me." Althea said and Victor could not help but throw a blank stare at Thirdy.

"Awww, that's sweet of you, Thirdy. Thank you for doing it for Althea." Laura said.

"No problem po, babalik din naman po ako sa school to get my school documents." Thirdy politely replied.

"It's actually not a big deal, Ri. Pupunta rin naman pala si Thirdy sa school nila kaya maisasabay nyang kunin yung mga documents ni Althea. So it's not sweet afterall." Victor uttered and Thirdy choose to just smile at Victor's comment.

"I don't know about you, Love, but I still find it sweet. Anyway, have you had your snack? Almost five na, baka gutom na kayo." Laura said.

"What's for snack, Mommy?" Althea asked.

"Carrot cake." Laura replied.

"Great, favorite ni Thirdy and carrot cake." Althea said.

"Really, Thirdy?" Laura asked.

"Masarap po kasing mag-bake ng carrot cake ang Mommy ko kaya nagustuhan ko na rin." Thirdy replied.

"I like carrot cake, too. It's my favorite." Victor uttered.

"I know you like carrot cake, Love. But tiramisu cake is your favorite." Laura uttered and Victor rolled his eyes on her. "Come on, kids at baka maubusan tayo ng carrot cake. Kinukulit ako ni Nathan for another round of that carrot cake eh." She added.

As Victor glued his eyes to Thirdy and Althea while they walk inside the house he realized how time travels too fast. He is not expecting it to be this fast wherein in less than two weeks, Althea will be flying to Italy to study and take care of MGOC's chaiman. He also wonders, how Thirdy and Althea will survive the relationship they called LDR.
