Richard and Dei did not waste time and immediately fly to Manila to talk to the Monteiros. Dei could not hide her excitement for the new addition in their growing family.

"Daddy, I thought you are staying with Ate sa Urdaneta," Thirdy asked when he got surprised on the arrival of his parents in Nuvali.

"I don't want to be late at the pamamanhikan, baka magbago ang isip ni Althea eh." Richard said, joking. "Are we all set for tomorrow?" Richard asked.

"My prince, did you tell Althea that we will take care of everything for the pamamanhikan? They don't have to prepare anything." Dei asked.

"Mommy, sinabi na ni Althea sa akin na nakausap ka na nya so I'm sure alam na nya yun." Thirdy said.

"You have to remind her still or better tell it straight to Laura." Dei uttered.

"Okay po, Mommy. I'll do that later. Babay na po muna, I need to go work today," Thirdy replied to his mother not to lengthen their discussion.

"Bakit papasok ka pa, you need to prepare for tomorrow. Maraming dapat gawin para sa pamamanhikan. Is Althea available today? Ask her if she can come with me today to buy stuff for the baby," Dei asked.

"Don't you think it's too early to buy baby stuff, Mommy?" Thirdy asked.

"I only have today and the day after tomorrow para samahan si Althea mag shopping para sa baby," Dei replied.

"And I suggest you do it some other time, your highness. We don't even know the baby's gender yet." Richard said.

"But we can buy stuff with neutral color," Dei insisted.

"We still have more than seven months to do that, Mommy." Thirdy said. "Let's just focus on the dinner tomorrow night," he added.

"Hay naku, ewan ko sa inyong mag-ama. You tend to cram than be prepared," Dei ranted. "Why do we have to postpone things we can do now," she continued ranting while walking inside the house.

"Pasensya ka na sa Mommy mo, excited lang yan sa bago nyang apo, the last time she do that was with Luke and Lily, hindi naman nya kasi nagawa yan when your Ate Athena was conciving with Rafa," Richard said.

"It is okay, Dad, I understand po. I have to leave now, okay lang po ba kayo dito?" Thirdy asked.

"We will be fine, Virgie is here to assists us," Richard replied. "Sige na, I know there is an event in Royalties Manila today, your Ate needs you there," he further told Thirdy.

"Thanks, Dad, uuwi ako agad after my shift," He said before he started his engine and leaves.

"He still reports for work, does he realize na marami pang dapat gawin for tomorrow's pamamanhikan?" Dei asked.

"Don't worry, your highness, Charmaine got it covered. Thirdy has to report for work today kasi may event sa Royalties. His sister needs him there." Richard explained.

"My point exactly, Charmaine is busy with the event how can she handles the preparation for tomorrow night?" Dei insisted.

"Your highness, we have competent people in the business to help your children. Can we just relax and be ready for tomorrow's pamamanhikan? Honestly, I don't know how they do it these days, atsaka first time tayong mamamanhikan. Dun sa dalawang prinsesa, tayo ang hiningian ng kamay, this time it will be us who will ask for Althea's hand in marriage." Richard said.

"That's why I want everything in order, nakakahiya sa mga Monteiro," Dei said.

"Charmaine knows that, so relax na kamahalan," Richard said. "Would you like to go malling para marelax ka naman kahit saglit," he asked.
