7 - MNL to CEB

Thirdy and Althea are already having their breakfast when Rebecca came with her friend. "Tres, look who I bump in with." Rebecca excitedly said.

Althea could not believe to see Rebecca with Santino. She took a huge sigh and reprimands herself for putting malice on what she sees earlier and she seriously hopes that her hunch is incorrect. "Going somewhere, Santino?" Thirdy asked.

"I am going to Cebu for the leadership convention. Hello, Althea. I am happy to see you again." Santino said.

"Hi, Santino. I am glad to see you, too." Althea replied.

"Mabuti naman aattend ka rin leadership convention." Santino said and it was too late before he realized what he uttered.

"How did you know that I am attending the convention in Cebu? I don't remember telling you about it." Althea said.

"I told him that Thirdy and I are flying with you." Rebecca was quick to reply.

"I see." Althea briefly said.

"Come and join us for breakfast." Thirdy said.

"We are fine, Thirdy. Reb and I grab some sandwich earlier before we meet you here." Santino said and Thirdy just shrugs his shoulder and continue with his breakfast.

Althea could not control herself to wonder why Thirdy was unable to notice that Santino mentioned about having breakfast with Rebecca while earlier his girlfriend texted him about not joining us for our morning meal because of a friend which obviously is Santino. But she choose to keep this observation to herself. "Join us na rin kahit nag breakfast na kayo and let's catch-up." She said.

Rebecca and Santino occupied the vacant chairs to chat with Althea. "Are you staying here for good, Althea?" Santino asked.

"Yes I am. I will be assisting my Dad Daniel while I prepare myself to take over the MGOC presidency." Althea replied.

"Wow, congratulations." Santino said while Rebecca attentively listens to us and Thirdy just continue consuming his breakfast.

Althea again wonders if Rebecca and Thirdy are having a fight as she has not seen them speaking with each other since Reb and Santino arrives.

They prefer to stay in the VIP lounge cafeteria while waiting to the announcement of boarding. In their entire conversation Thirdy remains quiet and only speaks when asked. They almost run out of topic to discuss when they heard the most awaiting boarding announcement.

"Boarding na, let's go." Thirdy said and took his back pack. He got startled when him and Santino simultaneously grab from Reb her hand carry bag.

"Opps, I'm sorry, Thirdy." Santino apologized.

"You may help Althea with hers." Thirdy said.

Santino awkwardly smiles and took Althea's hand carry bag from her.

"Thank you, Santino." Althea said.

Inside the airplane, Althea again got surprised when Santino sat beside her, in front of Thirdy and Rebecca. "Wow, what a coincidence. We are seatmates." She commented.

"Oo nga, buti na lang vacant pa ang seat na 'to when Reb and I checked-in." Santino said.

Althea's curiosity on Santino and Rebecca soars high after hearing Santino's declaration. Thirdy and Rebecca arrived at the airport together. Therefore it is just normal they will check-in together. How come that based on Santino's statement it was him and Reb who were together to check-in.

"Would you like some candies, Althea?" Santino asked and handed her pieces of candies with different flavors.

She took two pieces and thanks Santino. The latter gave the remaining pieces to Thirdy then he took other candy pieces from the other pocket and gave it to Rebecca. She noticed that the candies Santino gave to Rebecca were different from what he gave her and Thirdy.
