43 - Ban For Life

Thirdy makes sure not to let go of Althea's hand as the latter never stops shaking after seeing how fierce the eldest Monteiro is. He is aware of Victor Monteiro's reputation of turning into a monster when he gets frustrated and mad. And he sees that behavior while Althea and her Daddy exchanges reasons on their stand about getting married.

"I know you are in the right age to decide for yourself, but as long as you are staying in this house, my rules prevail." Victor strongly exclaimed.

"Daddy, I don't believe that I should get married just because I am pregnant." Althea said.

"You keep on saying how you and Thirdy love each other, hindi ba pwedeng dahilan yun para magpakasal kayo?" Victor asked.

"That should be one of the reasons. Dad, I don't have problem getting married if we are ready." Althea replied.

"That's bullshit, if you don't want to get married yet, you should have protected yourself. Hindi ka na sixteen years old not to know the right from wrong. Magiging nanay ka na nga eh," Victor uttered.

"I still have dreams to fulfill, Dad. And it will be more impossible to get those dreams kung may sarili na akong pamilya." Althea replied.

"I don't remember teaching you how to be selfish Althea Marie. How dare you na sarili mo lang ang iniisip mo?" Victor exclaimed then strongly hits the table.

"Pwede bang mag-usap kayong mag-ama nang hindi mataas ang mga boses nyo?" Laura intervenes.

"Please call Daniel and Allona, right now, Ri. They should also hear what Althea is saying," Victor said.

"I already called them before tayo pumunta dito sa library. Siguradong papunta na ang dalawang yun dito," Laura said.

Thirdy do not know what to do while he watches Victor and Althea fight for their individual stand about the latter's condition. This is the first time he saw the eldest of the Monteiro brothers fiercely talks to Althea. Hitting the table stronger than how Laura hits it earlier is enough for Althea to stop arguing and starts shivering.

Nobody in the library speaks while they are waiting for Daniel and Allie to arrive. Though he gets surprised, Thirdy choose to be mum about the involvement of Daniel and Allona in Althea's present condition.

"What is Thirdy doing here, Kuya?" Daniel asked upon entering the library.

"Althea has something to tell you and Allona, and it involves, Thirdy," Victor replied.

"What is it, Baby?" Daniel asked despite having a hunch on what Althea is about to say.

"Dad, Mama, I am pregnant." She uttered and Allie was quick to run to her and embrace her.

"Ohh, Baby. That is such a wonderful blessing." Allie said.

"I think that is great news, bakit para hindi maganda ang mood?" Daniel asked.

"They are not getting married," Victor replied.

Daniel immediately runs to Thirdy then strongly grabs his collar, "Gago ka, bubuntisin mo, pero hindi mo papakasalan? Naghahanap ka ba ng sakit ng katawan?" he aggressively told Thirdy.

"Dad, please don't hurt him," Althea said.

"And why not, Althea Marie? Pinagtatanggol mo pa eh ayaw ka ngang pakasalan." Daniel exclaimed.

"Ayaw ni Althea na magpakasal sila ni Thirdy," Victor quickly said.

"Malay mo naman, Kuya, baka kaya umayaw si Althea ay dahil ayaw talaga ng lalaking ito na panagutan sya. Sa sobrang in love nyang si Althea dito kay Thirdy, siguradong pagtatakpan nya ang katarantaduhan nito," Daniel uttered while still holding Thirdy's collar.
