Welcome Home

John's POV

I woke up the next morning laying in a hospital chair inside Katys room. I was exhausted over everything that happened yesterday, and all the visitors. I could only imagine how Katy felt. She probably will sleep all day.

Before she woke up, I ran to the store. I got her some breakfast, I bought some flowers, and picked up a necklace I had made a few days ago. I knew I didn't have to rush because Katy would sleep all day if she could, but I decided the sooner I get back the better.

It took about 45 minutes to get everything, and then I drove back to the hospital. From a block away there were pa paparazzi. It was insane.

I pushed my way threw all the screaming reporters and flashing cameras and got to Katys room.

She was still asleep.

It was now lunch time, so I figured I could wake her up. I tapped her shoulder lightly and whispered "Katy sweetheart it's time to wake up."

After a few minutes of trying to get her to wake up, she finally rubbed her eyes.

"What could you possibly want this early?"

"Katy it's 12:39 you've slept through half the day! don't you want to see the kids?"

"Yes where are they. We're are the kids?"

She got a worried look on her face, almost as if she thought she had lost them.

"Katy, they are asleep in their cribs. I have a present for you if you want it."

Once i reassured he on were the kids are she smiled. Her face lit up when I said I had a present.

"Well of course I want it!!"

Katy's POV

John woke me up, and I just wanted to go back to sleep. I was sore and tired, while another part of me wanted to jump up and play with the babies.

He convinced me to get up, and then told me he had a present for me. I couldnt imagine what John could possibly get me.

He first handed me a bag and cup of coffee.

"I went to starbucks I know how much you hate hospital food."

I smiled, he was the best.

He then walked over to a bag and pulled out a bouquet of flowers.

"Well these are also for you."

He handed me the flower filled bouquet.

"They are so pretty John! They smell so good! Thank you so much I said while I pecked his lips.

"That not all I have more!"

What else could he possibly have.

He pulled out a small red box.

"I went to the jewelry store the other day and got this made for you."

He opened the small box up which held a beautiful necklace. The necklace was silver and had to hearts covered in diamonds. It was beautiful.

"Awe John!! it's so beautiful! Thank you so much! I love you!"

"I love you too."

With that I kissed him on the lips, but it soon ended with a knock on the door and a nurse walking into the room.

"Oh well hello Mr. and Mrs. Mayer I'm glad to say that if you can wait another hour to make sure everything is okay that you guys will be able to get home by 2:30 ish!"

"John did you hear her! we get to bring Juliet and Justin home!!!"

I was so happy! The kids were going to get to see there home.

John packed up some bags while I reviewed paper work with the nurse.

2:30 came really quick. In what felt like seconds we were unlocking the front to with the babies in our hands.

"John!! We have to give them a tour of the house come on!"

He just laughed at me, while he followed behind with Juliet in his hands.

I walked around telling the babies about their room, and showing them the kitchen, the playroom, my room and tons of other rooms.

I knew they didn't fully understand, but I felt liking giving them a tour was the polite thing to do.

"Welcome home Justin and Juliet!!" I yelled at the end of tour. While throwing my hands up in the air.

I heard small little baby giggles and my stomach filled with butterflies.

"Oh my god! John did you hear that! It was adorable!"

He was in awe over the kids cuteness also! I couldn't wait to watch them grow up.
