Present day (2019)
Andi's POV
"Andi, this looks so good!" Brody wraps his arms around me from behind, kissing my cheek softly.
"Anything for you and Trey! You're my best friends." I giggle, looking over the joined yard of our homes.
"And your brothers. Can't forget that." Trey laughs, walking up to us. The sun shining off his chocolate colored skin.
"You aren't my brother yet. Not for eight more months." I tease, sticking my tongue out at him.
"Close enough." He shrugs with a little laugh.
"Mommy!" We all turn to my backdoor as Kason sticks his head out, "When are Alena and her gramma picking me up?"
"In about half an hour, Bug. Be patient." I chuckle, jogging back towards him.
"I wanna go play with Alena now." He whines, his pale blue eyes looking sad.
"I know, baby, but they will pick you up right before our party starts. That's when they have time to." I ruffle his dark curls passing him into our house.
"What are you doing, mommy?"
"I'm going to change into my party dress." I chuckle, letting him follow me into the master bedroom.
"The pretty pink princess dress you bought last week?" My five year old grins, showing off the tooth he lost last week.
"That's the one." I nod, pulling it out of my closet.
"You are going to be so beautiful in that dress."
"Thank you, Bug. Go check you packed everything for your sleepover, you are too big to watch mommy change anymore." I laugh, shutting and locking the bedroom door after he runs through it.
I carefully slip myself into the strapless blush dress, zipping it up and straightening the skirt out. Stepping into my bathroom to run the curling iron through my bleached blonde hair as quickly as I can.
"Mommy!" Kason yells from outside the locked door to my room a while later, just as I finish applying my makeup.
"What?" I call out, spraying some perfume on.
"They are here." He yells back.
"Oh," I hurry to grab my shoes, running out of the room.
"Hey, Mamma Jonas." I grin, hugging the sweet lady sitting on my couch.
"Hi there, Andi." She laughs, "Little busy?"
"Very busy." I chuckle.
"Andi! Andi! Guess what?" Alena pulls on my dress softly.
"What girly?"
"I turned five last week!" She grins.
"It was two weeks ago, and I know. I was there remember? At your party."
"Oh ya!" she giggles.
"Alright, Kason, be good and listen to Grandma Jonas and to Dani tomorrow." I turn to my own son, double checking his bag quickly.
"I will, mommy! Have a fun party." He grins, throwing his arms around my neck, "You are so pretty, mommy." He giggles.
"Thank you, Bug. Go have fun, okay?"
"I will."
"Come on, Kason! We are going to have a sleepover!" Alena grabs his hand as soon as he lets go of me.
