A/N: This is a double update! Make sure you read chapter 3 first.

Andi's POV

"Okay stop." Dani grabs my arm as we leave the preschool side by side.

"I have a writing session to get to, Dani." I chuckle nervously, knowing what is coming.

"You only dye your hair when you're stressed, Andi. And your hair is blue. What's going on?" She rolls her eyes, pulling me away from the door but not letting go.

"A lot. But I'm handling it." I sigh.

"By changing your hair?"

"And other things." I roll my eyes.

"What's going on, Andi? You know you can talk to me." She frowns.

"Kason's been asking about his dad." I sigh, giving in.

"His dad? You have never once mentioned his dad."

"I know. Not a particularly joyful topic for me."

"Did it end badly?"

"Not really, it just fizzled off and I never told him about Kas." I shrug.

"His dad doesn't know he exists?" She looks shocked.

"Dani, I was seventeen when I got pregnant, his dad was sixteen. No I didn't tell him. We were both on trips for our future careers in London, from very different parts of the world, and when I found out and got home... I decided not to tell him. But now... he lives here, I live here, we work in the same industry and our paths are going to cross again, like today."

"And he has no idea?"

"None. I haven't talked to him since I left London six years ago."

"Hey, I'm picking up Kason and Alena today, I'll plan on you for dinner and you and I can talk it all out, okay? Over some wine?"

"That would probably be very helpful. I don't know. I sort of always knew this day would come, but not that it's here. It's possible it will turn into a mess."

"Probable actually. Most guys aren't going to take finding out they have a son who's nearly six very well."

"Exactly. And with the media pressure it will put on him and his career when it comes out..." I blow out a long slow breath, "They aren't going to like that he knocked a girl up at sixteen."

"It happens. But seriously, have you talked to anyone about this?"

"Trey and Ricky last weekend. After six years they finally know who Kason's dad is. My cousin Jane has known since the start, but that's all. I need to tell my parents but I haven't yet."

"Hey, breathe, Andi, you've got us. Remember that. Me, Priya, Sophie, and the boys too. Is your writing session with him?"

I nod, "And his band."

"Come for dinner and we can talk, okay?"

"Ya. Thanks. I'm not sure I'm starting with the whole, hey we have a kid together line. I would love to actually get some work with them done. I like the prospect of writing with them."

"Well either way, come and we will talk." She pulls me into a tight hug.

"Thank you for being the big sister I never had." I chuckle, "I'm going to be late if I don't go though."

"Try and have fun. See you tonight." She laughs.

"I will." With that I hurry over to my car and take some deep breaths as I head for the studio Michael gave me the address for.
