**double update**
Calum's POV
"Cal! You're smiling! For the first time in a week!" Mike slaps my back as we head down the hallway.
"Playing a real show, it let me let go of my pain and worry for a minute. Plus now the only thing between myself and my family is a few hours and a plane ride." I sigh.
"It's nice to see you smile again. To see something make you happy." Luke says.
"I just want to get home now, I only have a few days there with Andi and I need to be with her right now." I can feel the adrenaline high wearing off as we speak, the pain growing in my heart again.
"How is she holding up?" Ashton looks worried.
"I can't tell. Her voice has been sad and monotone for days. She seems lost almost, but then she says she's okay, and handling it all. I just want to get home so I can try and help." I shrug.
"You'll be there tomorrow morning. And she will be grateful for the time she gets to spend with you after how hard this week has been for you both." Ashton smiles, pushing open our green room door and leading us inside.
"Counting down the hours until I'm by her side." I sigh, falling onto the couch and grabbing my phone, seeing a text from Ann.
BabyMama
Kason wants to call
you as soon as you
have time.Just got off stage,
have him call. I
miss you, Ann, I'll
see you in the
morning.Less than a minute later my phone starts ringing, her contact on the screen. "Hey, Bug." I answer as I press it to my ear.
"Hi, daddy!" His little voice not failing to put a small smile on my face.
"Mom said you wanted to talk to me."
"Ya, I miss you, dad. How much longer until you come home?"
"I'll be home tomorrow morning, Kas."
"Really!" The excitement in his voice makes me chuckle.
"Yeah. We just finished our concert tonight, now we just have to sleep and get on the plane home. I'll come over to your house as soon as I can, okay?"
"Yes! I can't wait. Mommy needs you, daddy. She says she is okay but I think she is sad about baby sister. Her smile is weird now, and she cries at night when she thinks I'm sleeping." My heart breaks a little as his voice drops, telling me he is incredibly worried about Andi.
"I know, Bug, promise you will help me take care of her?"
"Of course. I just don't like sad mommy."
"Is your grandma still there to help you right now?"
"Ya. She goes home tonight though. Trey and Brody are staying at our house until you get here tomorrow to help mommy feel better."
"Good. Give her a big hug for me, okay?"
"I will, dad!" His voice goes up in pitch as he gets excited.
"Thanks, Kas. I love you, Bug."
"I love you too, daddy. Want to talk to mommy?"
"Is she right there?"
"She is downstairs with gramma. I didn't want to make her cry if I mentioned baby sister, so I came to my room to talk to you."
"You are the sweetest kid I have ever met, Kas, I hope you always stay that way. If grandma is leaving soon don't interrupt them. Just tell mom to call me after she leaves."
