Double update again, because SavSOS_ keeps begging... but this is the last double update you're getting for at least a week!
Andi's POV
"Gramma!" I smile as I hear Kason yell from down stairs.
"Kasibug!" I hear the unmistakable sound of mums Irish accent as she responds.
Quickly I finish straightening out my dress, making sure the plunging neckline is situated correctly as to not expose what shouldn't be. Running my hands down the silvery grey material admiring the red detailing.
"Andromeda, are you nearly ready?" Dad's voice comes from down the stairs.
"Ya." I call, double checking my smokey eye makeup for smudges before jogging back into my closet to grab my heels and clutch.
"All set." I smile, walking into the living room to see all of my family sitting there.
"Wow, wow, Andi-Dandi, you are looking radiant today." Trey grins.
"Thank you. Big award show, so you know, gotta look great." I chuckle.
"You look pretty, mommy." Kason grins, jumping off my moms lap to run over and hug me.
"Thank you, Bug." I chuckle, kissing his cheek.
"I can't believe I get to go to an award show with my little girl." Dad is beaming at me.
"I love being your date tonight, daddy. Or are you my date? Since we both got invites." I chuckle, standing back up to hug him.
"Whatever it is, I need a photo before you head off together." Mum laughs, standing for a hug and then forcing dad and I to let her take a picture of us.
"Have fun, guys. Mom and I are going to party with Kason and see how many times we can spot you two on the broadcast." Trey laughs.
"Have fun with that." I chuckle.
"I'm gonna find you lots, mommy." Kason grins.
"And obey grandma, okay? When she says bedtime it means bedtime."
"I know. I will."
"Come on, Andromeda, our car is here." Dad holds his arm out and I take it.
"Win some awards, guys." Mom calls as we head out into the afternoon sun.
"So how's my baby girl doing?" Dad asks as we sit in the back of our car.
"Kason's dad is back in my life suddenly." I sigh.
"Kason's life too?"
"Not yet. But he will be soon. It might get messy."
"How'd he come back into your life so randomly?"
"His band booked me for some writing sessions after I ran into his friend at the engagement party a few weeks ago."
"He's in the industry?"
"Yeah."
"Good luck. Let us know if you need help with anything."
"Thanks, dad." I nod. That's one thing I love about my parents, they never cause excessive drama. They take in the facts as they are and face them, always on the side of our family. Only putting up a fight if needed. They trust Brody and I to make the right decisions and don't question us more than once on those choices.
"Niall gave me a call last week. Says he's got some music started for a second album. You working with him again on that?"
"Yeah. The first song we've got finished is awesome. It's got a little more rock edge to it, and I honestly love it. You going to work with him again too?"
