My jaw dropped with his question. I never expected he'll ask me something like this. Maybe, he's like me, a little observant... or maybe just protecting a friend he treasure for years.

"No, we're not dating." I stated with finality, trying to put an end to the discussion.

Matagal siyang napatitig sa akin at tumango pero ramdam ko na hindi siya kumbinsido sa sinabi ko. "Okay, sabi mo eh."

Buti nalang ay marunong makiramdam si Rojas kasi hindi na siya nagtanong tungkol doon. Umiba ang ang usapan namin at hindi ko na nagawang basahin ang binabasa ko. Okay lang naman dahil nakakaagaw naman kasi ng interes iyong sinasabi niya.

When I heard the bell rang, I immediately bid my good bye to Rojas and return the position paper on the shelf before I exited the library. Bumalik ako sa classroom para kunin ang bag ko. Nakisabay ako kina Carys at Avianna sa paglabas ng campus. They invited me to eat street food, and I agree with them.

Pagkatapos no'n ay humiwalay na kami dahil bukod sa iba ang direksyon ng mga bahay namin ay kinakailangan pa naming magreview.

Two days before the exam day, pumunta ako sa Caffeine At The Coast at nakita ko si Clajj doon. Dahil nakasanayan na namin ang isa't isa rito, ay dumiretso na ako ng upo.

Clajj beamed at me, I shook my head and continued doing my things. Having Clajj around is convenient, tinuturuan niya ako sa General Mathematics, at syempre ay gustong-gusto ko iyon. Mas maganda pa siyang mag-explain dahil nakukuha ko agad, medyo complicated kasing magdiscuss iyong Sir namin.

Nang maubos ang kapeng order ko ay nagpaalam ako kay Clajj na magbabanyo. Halos tatlong minuto ako roon dahil hindi ko namalayang namantsahan pala ang damit ko ng kape.

The moment I stepped out the restroom, my mood to study perished in a flick of a hand. I stood there for a while as I watched Shantal sat on my usual spot. She's grinning from ear to ear while talking to Clajj. Base on Clajj's face, he seems into the conversation.

I took a deep breath before walking towards them. Clajj's brows furrowed as he watched me put my things in my bag.

"Uh, kailangan ko nang umuwi, Clajj. Nakalimutan kong mayroon pala kaming review bukas." Sabi ko na kalahating kasinungalingan.

Seryoso lang siyang nakatingin sa akin habang sa gilid ng paningin ko ang bored na mukha ni Shantal na parang hinihintay ko may balak pa ba talaga akong umalis.

"Inaantok ka ba? Hatid na kita sa inyo?" Kalmadong tanong niya.

I was about to decline, but Shantal took advantage of my chance to speak. "Clajj, I still have something to talk to you, it's about our lesson in Structural Theory."

"No thanks, Clajj. I can manage, and you seems busy. Bye, see you around." I said then exited the CaffCo and left them sitting there but Clajj eyes were on me.

I witnessed how my fellow students are dedicated to study for the exam. Some students are engaging into group study, and some study on their own in some places they're comfortable with. May iilang estudyante rin akong nakitang palakad-balik ang ginagawa habang may sinasaulo.

Hindi na ako bumalik sa Caffeine At The Coast at mas piniling sa bahay mag-aral. I want to condition myself so I won't cram.

It's the D-Day! I'm thankful and feeling blessed at the same time since all of the notes I've studied came out. I'm confident enough to say that I'll have have a passing score, or perhaps a three to five mistakes only?

Dalawang araw ang exam, at umaga ang schedule ng section namin. Katabi ko parin si Rafus during exam pero may isang metrong distansiya lang. Of course it's Rafus, the exam is just a piece of cake for him. I saw how he's so relax while answering, and right there I concluded that he'll ace the test.
