A few nights after the last time I saw her in my room, Jade and Andrew had decided to go to a movie, so me and Tom ordered Chinese food and watched horrors in my room.

I'm sure the increase of horror watching had something to do with all the strange things I'd been seeing.

We'd just finished a remake of Poltergeist and I sighed before pressing stop.

"That was not okay." I complained.

"It wasn't that bad." He smiled at me, I could see he was trying not to laugh at me.

"It was complete trash Tom and you know it. It just ruined the original." I huffed.

"Think of it as it's own film, then it's not as bad." Tom said as he started to stand up, grabbing our trash from around the bed and putting it all into one bag.

"But it's not it's own film! It's a remake. I hate remakes." I was acting like a child.

Tom wouldn't hold is laugh in then, "You get so invested in films and books." He carried on laughing and shook his head at me. I couldn't help but laugh at myself too.

I checked the clock and it wasn't too late, and I wasn't in the mood to be alone yet, I'd started to get a creepy vibe when I was alone in my room, and watching a horror didn't help, but I didn't want to seem needy and ask Tom to stay.

Sky was watching Tom move around the room, hoping to get herself some left over food.

"Are you alright?" Tom asked, I didn't know what he saw on my face.

I nodded my head yes and asked, "Will you stay and watch another movie with me?"

His answering response was to dump himself back on my bed and make himself comfortable.

Sky, realising nothing important was happening, put her head back down on her giant paws and closed her eyes.

I quickly grabbed a DVD from my shelf, the first one I put my hands on and put it in the dvd player before climbing back onto the bed next to Tom, he didn't seem to take my invitation for another film as anything more than me wanting to watch something, not to keep from being alone for another hour or two.

I hadn't realised what film I'd chosen until it got to the play menu.

"Are you seriously going to make me watch Jurassic Park again? Lily you have to understand nobody likes dinosaurs as much as you!" Tom started to get up to change the movie, I laughed slightly.

"I honestly didn't mean to put it on, I just grabbed a random DVD, I promise." I giggled again, thinking about how many times I'd actually forced it upon my friends.

"Yeah, I'm sure that's true." Tom rolled his eyes as he smiled at me, continuing to the DVD player and replacing the DVD with Back to the Future, something we both enjoyed.

It wasn't long after we'd started the film that we heard Andrew and Jade coming up the stairs, just as I was laughing at the commentary Tom was making about characters on screen.

Someone knocked on the door and I laughed while telling them to come in, Jade and Andrew were stood there, a smile on their faces as they took in the scene of me and Tom on the bed laughing.

"How was the movie guys?" Tom asked.

"It was actually pretty dull, we do not recommend it at all, we just wanted to say goodnight." Drew smiled and waved as he backed up into the hallway and headed to his and Jade's room.

"What did you guys do?" Jade asked, leaning on the door frame, clearly not ready to leave yet.

I shrugged, "We ordered Chinese, then we started watching movies, you want to join us?" I asked, gesturing towards the screen.
