Hope you all had a good Christmas!
I'd like to say I haven't posted in a while because I was enjoying family time for the holidays but in reality I was at work everyday, haven't had a day off since the 20th of Dec and still have another five days before I have one off. Working Christmas isn't super fun but my patients appreciate it :)
Anyway, chapter thirty-six! Thanks for reading everyone I really appreciate it :) x

"We're going to the cabin for the weekend." Tom smiled down at me.
My first response was probably not the right one, "But I have work in five minutes?"
All three laughed at me then and I smiled, "We've taken care of it Lily." Jade said.
I grew more excited then, the cabin was one of my favourite places, nothing special, just a small cozy cabin, two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and a living room, it was Tony's but he let us use it a few times a year.
We got no signal out there, we spent days watching movies, eating massive amounts of junk food and walking round the lake, it was perfect, and it was the perfect place to spend my birthday.
"Oh my god guys, thank you!" I beamed at them all, stretching up in my seat to kiss Tom's cheek.
"You were never a party person." He smiled down at me.
"Wait, all my stuff? I don't have anything, or any of Sky's stuff." I panicked for a second.
Andrew turned around in his seat and rolled is eyes at me, "Really Lily, you think Jade hasn't raided your room?"
That explained my missing items.
Just proved how messed up my life had been with unexplained things happening that I went straight to creepy rather than thinking someone I lived with could have been in my room moving my shit.
It took us four hours to reach the cabin, and I fell asleep for the last two, unable to keep my eyes open, I remembered Tom whispering something in my ear and moving my head onto his chest, and that's where I woke up when the car started to bump its way up the dirt road to the cabin.Sky's head, that had been in my lap, lifted as the rough terrane woke her up too.
I yawned and moved from Tom's chest to stretch.
I looked out over the lake, surrounded by pines on all sides, I knew there were other cabins in those woods, thirty or so, you couldn't see another person, and it didn't feel like anyone was around.Everything was still and perfect. Even the water was calm.
I was thinking so much about how alone we were out there that when Tom wrapped his arms around my waist it made me jump.
"Are you mad we kidnapped you for your birthday?" I turned around in his arms and looked up at him.
"You know I'm not mad. I'm in my happy place." I gave him a big smile and he moved his head down to kiss me.
It started out soft, like it would last a few seconds, but then his arms tightened around me, and he walked me backwards until my back pressed against the wooden wall.
I gasped in his mouth and moved my arms around his neck.
There was an excited knocking at the door followed by Jades cheerful voice, "Come on guys, we're going to the store for supplies."
Tom let his head drop back, looking at the ceiling of the room, groaning, "Go away Jade."
"Pull your faces apart for two hours and come to the store with us, losers." She kept banging on the door.
