He almost chocked for a second, he sat up like he'd been electrocuted, his eyes huge.
I couldn't understand his reaction for a second until he opened his mouth to speak and couldn't actually form words, he pointed weakly at me.
I burst out laughing, rolling onto my back and actually having to grip my stomach for a second.
"Oh my god." I couldn't stop laughing, made worse when I looked over at him and he was still staring at me wide eyed, I didn't think he was breathing.
He managed a few words, "Lily please?" He sounded strangled.
"No it's not me you dork, Jade." I laughed again as he let out a long breath. "How would I even be pregnant?" I laughed at him again.
"Stop laughing at me, I panicked, alright?" He shoved my shoulder, laughing a little at himself now. "But Jade's pregnant? How long? Does Andrew know? Are they moving out? Boy or Girl?"
I was still struggling not to laugh at him, "You need to slow down, one at a time!"
He took a deep breathe, clearly still regaining himself from thinking I was pregnant, I almost laughed again but contained it.
"Tell me everything." He said, he moved back to laying down next to me, he propped himself up on his right elbow, facing me.
"I don't know much, all I know is that she's pregnant, 6 weeks, she went to the doctor this morning. She's freaking out, she's telling Andrew right now." I smiled again, she really was going to be an amazing mom.
"This is huge." He smiled back at me. I nodded at him, agreeing.
Something crossed his face and then he said, "What did she say about us?" He raised and eyebrow at me.
I shrugged, "Not much actually, I'm sure the small human growing inside her occupied most of her thoughts. She just wanted to know the gory details but that was it, she's not mad we kept it from her, and I'm positive she'll tell Andrew after she gets the news out. She just asked if we were happy."
He smiled and asked, "And what did you say?"
"Over the moon." I smiled back at him and leaned forward to kiss him.
I was expecting a quick kiss, but as soon as I felt his lips on mine, I moved myself closer to him, making it last longer. His hand gripped my hip keeping me close for a few more seconds before he pulled back, a huge smile on his face.
He laid back down with his head on the pillow, I started to giggle again as he pulled me into his side.
"What are you laughing at?" I felt his eyes on me but didn't move my head to check.
"You thought I was pregnant." I giggle again snuggling closer into his side.
He stayed quite for a few minutes, "Can I ask you something?" His voice sounded weird, worried?
"Always." I replied, I didn't want to look up at him to see if he really was worried, what did he want to ask me?
"Kids." He stated.
I couldn't help pulling back slightly and turning to look up at him, he was looking down at me, his face was worried.
"That's not a question, that's a word." I said, head titled slightly in confusion.
He sighed heavily before asking, "Do you, you know, want kids one day?" He couldn't keep eye contact with me, his eyes darted from mine, down to Sky on the floor, up to the celling.
