A little bit of smut in this chapter :).

It was the first time I'd told him I loved him, as more than a friend.
I meant it, I loved him, more than I thought it was possible to love someone else.
I'm sure I'd been in love with him the whole time I'd known him.
He pulled my chin up so I was looking into his eyes, I didn't think I'd seen a bigger smile on his beautiful face before, even in the dark room I could see how beautiful it was.
"You know that I love you, right?" My face lit up to match his smile, cheeks hurting.
I crushed my lips to his, catching him off guard, he recovered quickly though and starting kissing me back, setting me on fire.
He pulled me on top of him slowly, grabbing my bare thighs on either side of his waist, not breaking this kiss.
I dragged my hands down his tattooed chest, pushing myself up and breaking the kiss.
I kept my hands moving down, dragging the waist band of his boxers down slightly, "Say it again." I almost begged, wanting to hear the words again, unable to stop myself needing to hear him say them again, after all these years, I needed to hear it.
"I love you." He whispered to me, his eyes half closed as I pushed the boxers further down and gripped his hard dick between us.
Without warning he gripped my hips and twisted us around, leaving me breathless as he laid on top of me, pushing his lips back to mine.
He broke apart to pull my t-shirt over my head but before I could catch my breath he dropped his lips to my breasts, his right hand pushing my panties aside.
"Fuck." I couldn't stop myself from mumbling breathlessly as I grabbed his shoulders.
He chuckled and brought his lips back up to mine.
He kept his hand between my legs, his lips slowing on mine as he leaned over and grabbed a condom from his top draw.
He didn't need to touch me to make me feel like my whole body was melting, the way he looked at me was enough to do that, but as he slid another finger inside me and gazed down at me, it felt like my whole body set on fire, I pushed my hips up to meet his hand and he smirked at me.
He tore the condom wrapper with his teeth and slid it on, he wrapped his arm around my back and pushed his lips back to mine as he removed his fingers and pushed inside of me.
I whimpered as he groaned, he bit my bottom lip lightly, causing me to wimpier further.
He moved himself agonisingly slowly in and out of me, I almost growled in frustration, "Tom." I whined breathlessly around his slow kisses.
I reached my hand around to his lower back, raking my fingernails over his skin.
"Fuck, Lily." He groaned and started to speed up.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, so breathless I couldn't make a sound but needing him to know I wanted more.
He buried his face in my neck, he seemed just as breathless as me, he bit my neck causing me to moan and push my hips up from the mattress to meet his thrust.
I knew in that moment what made sex with Tom better than anything I'd ever experienced before, I loved him, I had loved him this whole time.
"I love you Tom." I couldn't help but moan into his ear.
I was jerked awake by a loud crash of thunder outside, I sat up panicked, sweat dripping from my forehead.I glanced down at Sky on Tom's rug, expecting her to have been woken up too, but she was fast asleep, her big head laid peacefully on her front paws.
I looked over at Tom and he was fast asleep too.
I started to feel really cold, the sweat that I felt drenched in, making me cooler.
I glanced around the room to see if there was anything I could use to warm up, a dressing gown, a spare blanket, but as I glanced around I got distracted, looking at the window I realised it was no longer raining, the storm had past, and I couldn't have been woken up by thunder crashing outside.
I got up slowly from the bed, making sure not to wake either Tom or Sky, I went to the window and looked out, there were leaves everywhere, loads of debris from the woodlands, but not too much damage had really been done to the street, the streetlights where back up and working, giving the street an eerie white glow.
I shivered and grabbed Tom's t-shirt from the top of his hamper, throwing it on so I wasn't stood at the window naked anymore.
We were a close town but I didn't think anyone needed to see that.
Before I could turn back around, I felt Tom standing behind me.
I sighed and whispered "Sorry for waking you up, I didn't mean to." I expected a reply, or a sound of some sort.
After a few seconds, I turned around to see why Tom wasn't talking and found nobody behind me.
I quickly glanced at the bed and Tom was still where I'd left him, sound asleep.
I'd felt someone behind me, I knew I had.
Before I had time to think about it, I heard my bedroom door open and close.
The logical part of my brain wanted to say it was Jade or Andrew, back early from their trip, but as I glanced at the clock on Tom's desk, it said that it was eighteen minutes past three in the morning, there wasn't a chance Andrew and Jade had driven in a storm to return home in the early hours of the morning.
Another rational but terrifying part of my brain told me it was an intruder or a murderer, but having one of the lowest crime rates in the country, with a whopping 5 murders in thirty years, also told me to rule that option out as well.
There was no other explanation that my brain could think of, so I took a deep breath and walked towards Tom's door, grabbing my phone as I passed his desk for the torch, I could have grabbed the torches we'd used earlier but if it was an intruder I needed my phone to call for help.
My shaking hand grabbed for his door handle slowly, turning as slow as I could.
I knew not to open the door slowly though, the faster you opened a door, the less likely it is to squeak.
I closed it quietly behind me and then turned the torch on my phone on.
I glanced both ways down the hall, my heart pounding in my ears but there was nobody I could see.
I waited for a few seconds, trying to listen to the house, trying to hear if someone was in my room, or downstairs.
I heard nothing but the usual sounds of our house now the power was back on.
I walked slowly towards my room, my heart beating so fast it started to hurt.
As I got closer, my brain started to protest, telling me it was a terrible idea.
I listened through my door when I was outside, I couldn't hear anything for a second, just as I was about to pull away and open the door, I heard my fathers voice.
I jumped, but it was him, I'd know it anywhere!
