Jimin jolts at the mention of his name. He turns to look at the direction of where his name came from and his eyes go wide.
The wind picks up and the cherry pedals fly everywhere.

"Tae?"
Jimin says with a hint of excitement. He couldn't believe it was really Tae. But the excitement quickly changed to worry while Jimin begins to question why Tae has even come to see him.
Tae is still on his knees, breathing heavily as he looks up to see Jimin.
They stare at each other for a while before Tae says, "come here."
Jimin blinks a few times before slowly moving towards Tae.

"Uhh.. is everything oka—."
Before Jimin could even finish his sentence he was quickly pulled into Tae's chest. Jimin let out a quick gasp. Tae completely engulfed Jimin. Tae kept squeezing Jimin tighter and tighter. Jimin just kept his arms to the side, unsure on what to do.
"Jimin."
Tae says breathless.
"I.. Tae are you ok? Do you wanna go to the hospital? Your heart is practically beating out of your chest!"
Tae shakes his head.
"No.. it's ok. Just.. just let me stay here. Give me 5 minutes."

Soft pedals hit them and the only thing you could hear is the howling of the wind, and Tae's loud heart beat.

After a few moments, Tae's heart finally calms down. The boys agree to sit by the bench. Tae plops down out of pure exhaustion.
"When did you come back from Korea? The boys told me you'd be staying there for a few more days?"
Jimin raises an eyebrow.
"You still check up on me?"
Tae looks off onto the field.
Jimin quickly turns away, becoming a soft shade of pink.
"Well.. yes.. I mean I don't stalk you.. but I just.. I wanted to know you were ok.. and since you weren't talking to me.. I really had no other way of finding out."
Tae turns to face Jimin.

"I just got back a few minutes ago."
Jimin whips around.
"Huh?!"
"Why did you come to the park then? Shouldn't you be at home resting?"
"I came for you."
Tae holds eye contact with Jimin.
"I came back because of you. I came to the park because I wanted to see you. I originally went to your house, but you weren't home. A friend of yours told me you should be at the park, so I ran here."
They stayed silent again.
"That wouldn't have happened to be your new boyfriend.."
Tae's heart clenched.
"What? No! He's my cousin!"
"Oh."
Silence filled the space again. It was getting harder for the boys to keep a conversation, that was until Jimin decided to speak up.

"Hey Tae, why did you come and find me? Is there something you wanted to tell me?"
Jimin turns his whole body to face Tae.
"Yes, actually. There are so many things I want to say to you. But I don't even know where to start..."
"Can I say something?"
"Yea, go ahead."
Jimin clears his throat, and Tae turns his whole body to face Jimin.
"Well, I'm not sure why you're completely here, but if you are looking for an apology I don't have one to give. I don't regret telling you about your mother and I don't regret waiting so long. I'm sorry things couldn't work between us."
Jimin was quickly cut off by Tae's sudden reaction.
"What? Are you saying you don't want to be with me at all?"
Tae suddenly feels ill.
"Well Tae.. it's not that I don't wanna be with you.. I just don't.."
Tae's head is spinning and circles and he feels nauseous. Jimin notices the change in Tae's focus.

"Uh.. Tae?"
Jimin leans in.
Tae looks up.
"I wanna be with you."
Jimin blinks a few times.
Tae's head finally stops spinning and he feels a bit better finally getting it off his chest. But Tae soon becomes a bit upset with Jimin's reaction. Jimin puts his head down and has a frown on his face. Tae couldn't imagine why Jimin would be upset. He never wanted to see Jimin look so sad.
"Tae.. I don't think we can be together right now."
Jimins voice cracks and Tae's heart literally shattered into a million pieces.
"W-why not?!"
Tae wants to make eye contact with Jimin but Jimin can't even look Tae in the eyes.

"Because Tae,"
Jimin looks up,
"I desperately wanted to be with you. And you left. And I'm not saying that you didn't have every right to be upset but you didn't even want to talk it out! That was our first major argument and the second it got difficult you left!"
"Jimin it was my mother! I was upset and said it out of anger! It wasn't thinking!"
Tae puts his hands up in disbelief.
"Then why didn't you call me the day after? Or a week after? Why did it take you so long? Did you really think I was just gonna wait, hope, you would call me and we could talk it out? I loved you so much and not once did you even try to talk to me. It hurt me too Tae."
Jimin looks down with ears streaming down his face.
"You weren't the only one hurt here."
Jimin says as he sniffs.

The boys sit in silence again.
Both of them got things off their chest.
Tae still loved Jimin, but now he wasn't so sure if Jimin loves him back. That scared Tae more than anything. Tae can't stand this anymore.
This wasn't how it was suppose to go.
Tae hoped that he would be able to hold Jimin again and that they would all go back to how it was. But that was clearly not the same thing for Jimin. But Tae's stubbornness took over and so he grabbed Jimin and pulled him into his chest.

"Uh, Tae."
Jimin was shocked by the sudden hug.
"Look. Jimin, I'm not asking you to forgive me or anything like that. I'm telling you that I'm madly in love with you. I still am madly in love with you. I don't know when you thought I didn't or when you thought I stopped, but I have always loved you and I want to continue to be with you."
Jimin clenches to the inside on Tae's jacket.
"I want to be with you again. And I get if you don't want to jump into anything right now, but could you please try?"
Jimin slowly pulls away from the hug.
They stay quite as Tae's heart beats fast again.
"Ok."
Jimin said quietly.

"Huh?"
"Ok."
Jimin said louder.
Hearing that made Tae's heart jump.
"Really?!"
"Mhm."
Tae pulls Jimin in for a quick embrace.
"Thank you! I promise I'll try harder and make sure there aren't anymore sad days."
Tae smiles widely.
Jimin looks up and gives a small smile.
Tae's eyes are filled with love seeing that Jimin smiled for once.
"Let me walk you home."
Tae and Jimin got up, and walked together on that cold and heart wrenching night.

And I'm slowly forming the end of the story! Hopefully it's a good one! Also, why did I use to sign this with BOLD like that looks TERRIBLE why didn't anyone tell me. 😔 anyways, I wish you happiness.
