Tae's eyes widen to find himself in front of his childhood friends once again.
"Shiloh?"
Tae questioned unable to completely see him, because his eyes were adjusting to the sudden bright, blinding lights.
"Tom?"
"Jackson?"
"Jungkook!"
Tae looked around to see if he missed anyone. Then, there behind the table with the cake is a tall, dark haired man.
"I can't believe it."
Tae mumbles under his breath so only he could hear.
"Namjoon?!"
Mark smiles moving over with the boys while Tae stood and stared are the crowd. Hoseok and Yoongi then walked in. They saw that Tae was already in front of the boys.
"Surprise.."
Yoongi and Hoseok say in unison.
"Yah. What took you guys? Mark got tackled because of how late you were."
"Sorry, we had to bring in the other presents."
Yoongi says as he and Hoseok struggle to bring the presents in.
Tae's eyebrows go up.
"Would someone care to explain why we are all here?"
Tae looked at the boys.
"Isn't it obvious?"
Tom said as he fixed the presents on the table.
"We are throwing you a welcome back party."
Mark said as he fixed the banner that read, 'Welcome Home Tae!', with all the boys signatures.
"Come on hyung, why else would we be here."
Jungkook puts a party hat on Tae, along with everyone else.
"You guys really didn't have to do that! I would have been fine with a phone call or a text even." They all look at one another and laughed.
"Tae, we're family here."
Shiloh places his hand and Tae's left shoulder.
"It would go against our very blood line if we didn't celebrate you're return."
"Guys, I was only gone for 3 days."
Tae chuckles. He walks over to the table with the cake and takes a look.
"Oh, well then how come when Yoongi came back from Korea you were clinging onto him for six whole months?"
Jackson says as he wraps his arm around Tae's neck.
"I- that's different."
"How so?"
Chimes in Hoseok.
The boys all wait for a response.
Tae sighs, "it's not."
They all laugh, including Tae. The boys finish setting everything up completely. They all sit around a long table.
"What kind of cake is this?"
Tae says as he grabs the knife off the table.
"It's chocolate cake with white frosting topped with beautiful floral designs, along with strawberries, chocolate drizzle, and mini chocolate balls."
Jin says with a big smile.
"It looks delicious."
Tae makes a slice into the cake. He cuts a slim a into the cake and passes it around the table. Tae refuses to eat until each and every person had a piece of cake in front of them.
"Let's eat."
They all clapped their hands together then ate the cake.
-
After Jin finished washing the last plate, handing it to Namjoon so he could dry it, they walked over to join the boys who were laughing and smiling.
"Ok, but Tae didn't even like the girl!"
Jackson pointed out.
"So what? She was madly in love."
Mark emphasized on the 'love' part to make it more dramatic than it really was.
"Ok but remember that one girl who got Tae's name TATTOOED on her arm?!"
Tom mentioned.
"Oh god."
Tae covered his hand with his face and laughed.
"Or that one girl who got pregnant and NAMED HER KID TAEHYUNG!"
They all bursted out laughing at Marks comment.
"Talking about love stories,"
Shiloh chimed in,
"What about Park Jimin?"
Tae froze at the mention of his name.
"Ohhhh."
The guys all turned to look at Tae.
Tae cleared his throat.
"Well won't you look at the time.."
Tae begun getting up when Jungkook pulled him back down and said, "you aren't getting out of this one hyung."
Tae sighed.
"Ok fine. I'll tell you who Jimin is."
"We know who Jimin is, what we really wanna know is what happened with you and Jimin in Spain."
Yoongi looked at Tae, and the rest of the boys nodded and looked at Tae.
"I- ok. Where do I start?"
"From the beginning."
Namjoon said as he took a sip of water."
"Ok. Here goes nothing."
-
The boys all got quite and huddled around Tae.
Tae started to explain everything from day one. He told the boys how he and Jimin hung out and how he met Louisa and that they ran from the press. He then told the boys the went back to Jimins childhood home.
"We stayed there to escape the heat. At that time I didn't know it was Jimins childhood home so I assume we broke into a strangers house. Later he told me it was his. And the he gave me a proper tour of his house. He then told me about his past and that he feels selfish for having so much money. And I comforted him."
The boys all nodded and followed along with the story. Tae paused.
"And then I kissed him."
Tae said that extremely fast and then followed with, "them I left the house to get some fresh air and went back to the hotel."
The boys eyes all grew and stared at each other, except for Yoongi.
"WAIT WHAT?!"
Jin and Namjoon said.
"YOU DID WHAT?!"
Chimes in Jackson and Hoseok.
"You kissed Jimin.."
Said Shiloh and Hoseok.
"Woah."
Jungkook covered his mouth.
"Guys, it was just a peck."
Tae was turning red.
"Wait, so what happened after that?"
Mark leaned in.
"Well."
Tae was about to begin when he got a phone call. The boys all groan and sigh.
"Sorry guys, work calls."
Tae got up to fix his appearance.
"Thank you for doing this to me, I appreciate it very much."
Tae bows and revels his box smile. He was about to head out the door when he saw it was blocked.
"So when are you gonna tell us the rest?"
Yoongi says and he leans on the door.
"Yea, we wanna know."
Said Tom
"You can't just tell us that and then leave us like nothing."
Jin looked at Tae with a stern look.
"Ok, how about this. Four times a week, around this time, we'll meet at Jin's cafe. I tell you guys everything."
They all looked at each other and nodded.
"Ok."
Said the boys in unison.
Yoongi moved out the way and Tae left with a big smile on his face.
