[Hello! This chapter is going to be about Jimin and Dean. This takes place the day Jimin came home from Spain. So this is before Tae has told the boys anything. Sorry if it's confusing, now back to the story.]
-
"Do you need a ride?"
Tae asks as he gather all his luggage from the plane.
"Oh no, I'm fine. I'm going to get an Uber."
Jimin grabs his bag off the chair and fixes his blanket.
"Are you sure? It's really no trouble."
"Well, I'm not going home first. I have a few things to do."
Jimin looks down.
Tae stares but then nods.
"Ok. Well I'll see you later then. Text me when your home ok?"
Tae opens his arms.
Jimin goes in for the hug.
"Ok. I will. Be safe."
They boys smile and each other and wave goodbyes. They part ways and make their way back home. Jimin pulls out his phone and attempts to get an Uber. He's looking down at his phone when he feels a slight tap on his shoulder.
He jolts and turns around.
"Dean?!"
Dean smiles as he holds a bouquet of Smeraldos in his hand. Jimin hugs Dean.
"I've missed you."
Dean buries his face into the crook of Jimins neck and inhales his strawberry scent. They stay like that for a minute before Dean pulls away.
Dean's eyes start to water. Jimin notices.
"Hey, are you ok?"
Jimin tried to look into Dean's eyes. Dean nods his head.
"Yea, sorry. I just missed you."
Dean's heart starts to ache as he knows this will be the last day they will spend together as a couple. Dean wants to make the most of this day.
"Why don't we go home yea?"
Dean takes Jimin's suitcase in one hand and Jimin's hand in the other. They walk to Dean's car and they drive home.
-
Once inside Dean's house, Jimin let's out a heavy sigh and crashed into his bed. Dean follows but doesn't jump into the bed. Instead, Dean walks over and bites his lip.
"Uh, Jimin."
Dean said looking down and Jimin.
Jimin turned to his side to face Dean. Dean blushes at Jimins exposed abs. His golden locks fall right near his hazel eyes and Dean just wants to hold him. He realizes what he's doing and shakes his head.
"Never mind."
Dean turns and starts to make his way out the door when he's suddenly yanked into the bed. Dean let's out a yelp and find himself face to face with Jimin.
"What's wrong?"
Jimin slowly reaches his hand to Dean's face to brush his hair out of his eyes. Dean grabs Jimin's hand and softly pulls it away from his face.
"Jimin.. we need to talk."
Dean says with tearful eyes.
Jimin reads the room. He sits up and Dean follows. They sit crisscross in front of each other. Dean takes in a shaky breath. Jimin holds his hand.
"Jimin.."
Dean can barely manage to make a word before he starts to cry. Jimin also feels like crying, but he uses his sleeve to wipe off Deans tears.
"It's ok. Talk when your ready."
Dean wiped off some more of his tears before quickly adding, "We need to break up."
Jimin was taken back. He wasn't sure what to say so he just kept quite.
"Jimin I.. I love you. But I don't think we should continue this. We never see each other and I don't think we could ever be something more than just long distance boyfriends. I want to continue writing music and you want to keep on traveling. It's not working for me so I think it's best if we end it here."
Jimin caresses Deans face.
"Ok."
Jimin says with a shaky breath as he also starts to cry. Deans eyes widen.
"Hey! Don't cry! I'm sorry, please baby don't cry."
Dean frantically wipes Jimins tears.
Jimin laughs.
"Dean, you're the one who started crying."
Dean chuckles as they stare at each other for a long time. Dean smiles.
"I don't think we can be friends."
"Why not?"
Jimin said with a concerned tone.
"Because I don't think we can be friends right now. There's way too many feelings still here. I think it's best if you give me space before we go back to being friends. I don't want to fall in love with you again."
Jimin nods. He doesn't want to make Dean uncomfortable.
"Ok. I respect your choice."
After 20 minutes of the boys sitting in utter silence and staring at each other, Jimin clears his throat.
"I think I'd better get going now."
Jimin says with a small grin, trying to loosen the mood.
Dean just nods without saying a word. They both get out the room, Dean accompanying Jimin to the door. Jimin turns around before leaving.
"Goodbye Dean. I hope you're happy and that sometime in the future we could be friends again."
Jimin and Dean hug at the door. Dean hugs him tightly. He takes Jimin's embrace in one last time. Taking in all memories of them in one final hug. Dean pulls back and shoes a faint smile.
"Goodbye Jimin, take care of yourself."
"You too. I love you."
Jimin grins and takes off.
Dean closes the door slowly, tears streaming down his face. His back against the wall as he slowly fell down. He hit the floor with a thud.
I love you
I love you
I love you
I love you
Dean looks up at his ceiling, trying his best not to sob. He looks at the photo of them together that rests on the table from when they first started going out. A memory now filled with a blonde, hazel eyes, strawberry scented boy who fell in love with a tall, dark haired, singer. This is, was, will be, their love story, always and forever. Dean lets out a heavy sigh.
He gets up and walks over to his collection of alcohol. He opens the most expensive one he has and pours himself a drink.
"To us."
Dean raised the glass in the direction of the photo that lays on the table.
"And to all the impossible star crossed lovers out there."
He takes the drink down like a shot.
Then spends the rest of the night, alone with the moon.
