Tae walks into the hospital to see his mom laying in bed.
"Hey mom."
Tae puts a bag filled with his breakfast down on the table.
"I came to tell you about yesterday. I sorry I wasn't here. I smelled really bad so I went and took a shower, and Jimin made me dinner. It was so good; it's been a while since I have had an actual meal."
Tae takes of his coat and hangs it up in this little coat closet.

"Jimin cooked me this amazing dinner. I ate it all in a matter of seconds. But your food will always be the best, of course."
Tae smiles as he scoots in.
"I won't stay for long since Jimin wants to take me out on a small date. I promise it won't take long! I'll be back soon, so don't go waking up without me here."
A sad smile is painted on his face.
"I feel bad for going out and having a good time mom. I just want you to get better. So please wake up soon, alright ?"
Tae brings up his mom's hand to his face and plants a kiss on it.
"I'm going now mom. I love you."

-

Tae stares with a blank expression out the window. Jimin is in the drivers side, taking Tae out for a date. Jimin wants to see his boyfriend happy again so he's taking him out, but things aren't going so well.
"Do you want to play some music?"
Jimin hands Tae the aux cord.
Tae continues to look out the window.
Jimin puts his hand down.
"How about some water?"
Tae continues to stare out the window.
Jimin sighs, giving up.
He turns up his music which is a lofi beat with an acoustic guitar. He slightly rolls down Tae's window, letting in some cool air.
Tae quietly says thanks.
Jimin gulps hard.

-

They reach the Museum of Arts.
They walk around looking at art. This is something Tae is passionate about, but he isn't connecting with the painting like he does.
Jimin try's to start conversation by bringing up some artists but Tae still have his blank expression.
They come across this one painting.
A white canvas.
There is a single black dot in the middle. And it's growing. It's filling, expanding, taking up the whole part of the white canvas. Tae blinks a few times, confused on what's going on. The black paint is now all over the canvas, other paintings are loosing their color. Everything is dull, dim, dark. Tae is frozen in his spot. Horror fills his eyes. But out of the corner of his eye there's a yellow ball.

A tiny yellow ball bouncing up and down moving across. Emerging from the darkness comes this bright ball. Tae closes his eyes. His body still unresponsive. Then he hears,
"Tae?"
Immediately, Tae opens his eyes.
There it is.
The yellow ball.

Tae hugs Jimin tightly.
"Hey, lets get out of here huh."
Tae looks at Jimin, and Jimin nods.
"Where to?"
"Hmm let me drive."
Tae and Jimin switch places and Tae drives them to the beach.

-

"Isn't it a bit cold to be out here?"
Jimin rubs his hands together.
"Hmm, not really."
They take off their shoes before going on the beach. Suddenly, Tae takes of sprinting.
He reaches the tide.
He watches the ripples and how the waves pull in and out. Jimin catches up to him.
"Go ahead."
Jimin says.
"Hm?"
Tae turns to look at him.
"Scream."
Jimin says while looking at Tae.
"Put it out into existence. Tell the world how you feel."
Tae looks back out at the water.
The only sound is the crashing of the waves on the shore.

Tae inhales deeply.
"AHHHH!"
Tae yells.
"This sucks! I hate feeling like I can't do anything! Being trapped in this cycle of complete sadness SUCKS."
It's quite for a quick second.
Tae inhales once more.
"It's not fair! I wanna have my mom forever! I just wanna be genuinely happy! I don't want to slip back into my depressive state. I know it's getting bad, I can recognize the signs."
Tae catches his breath.
"I WILL ACHIEVE HAPPINESS."
He lets out the last bit of the scream he has left.
He regulates his breathing again. Jimin casts a sad smile, he hates that his boyfriend feels this way right now.

Tae smiles.
"Jimin you try! This is actually really helpful! Go ahead tell the world what's on your mind."
Jimin smiles and puts his hands near his mouth so his screams are louder.
"TAEHYUNG."
Jimin yells.
Tae's eyes go wide.
"KIM TAEHYUNG!"
"TAE."
Jimin repeats these words a few times.
Tae smiles and walks over to his boyfriend.
He throws himself at Jimin.
"Thank you."
Tae whispers as he plants multiple kisses on Jimin.
"What for?"
Jimin grins softly.
"For everything. I wish there was a better word for love. Love is overused. I want a word that means more than love. I love you so much more than just to the moon and back."
Tae continues to plant kisses on Jimin.

"I already know you love me. You don't need to say it. Sure reassurance is great but I know exactly how much you love me. There is always gonna be a space in your heart for me, I just know it."
Jimin grins.
"Like right now. Me bringing you here and watching you get things off your mind was me loving you in peaceful silence."
Tae's chest is literally about to pop out of his chest from how cute Jimin is.
"Say one more cute thing and I might just marry you."
Tae scoops up Jimin in bridal style and takes him to the car. The boys smile at each other in the car ride not saying a word, holding hands as the soft music of the radio ecos in their ears.
