It's been 3 months of happiness, stress, "work" anxiety, parties, and memories. Finals are over and it's Friday, the last day before winter break.
"I'm so tired." Tae says as he stretches from his chair. Yoongi who was already sleeping, slowly woke up, just to go back to bed. Tae grew bored of the class and just sat there twirling his pencil.
He looked over at Yoongi, the sunlight shining on his face revealed his great complexion. Tae fixed Yoongi's hair. A bunch of girls in class were fangirling over their favorite men. Yoongi slowly opened his dark coal eyes at stared right at Tae.
Tae suddenly turned red then turned away to focus on the math problem. After a few moments, Yoongi was still staring. "You good dude?" Tae said looking at Yoongi, laughing lightly.
"Nah, I'm just lost in your eyes homie." Yoongi said, with all seriousness. Tae smiled, and leaned in for a kiss.
Then Yoongi woke up, for real this time. He looked over at Tae who was looking at the board taking down notes. Yoongi sighed heavily and stretched in his chair.
"So Tae, are you going to work?."
"Actually, I think I'm going to take a few days off, kinda wanna listen to some music and do drawing, have a little me time."
Tae closes his book and the bell rang, lunch. Yoongi and Tae walked to lunch and sat down with their friends. They all made jokes, picked on each other, talked some more.
"And then he fell down the stairs!" Yoongi said and the whole group started laughing and Tae smirked. "I only fell because you didn't know how to walk and you tripped me." "What! How could you say that! I would never." Yoongi said acting offended. "What ever."
Tae and the boys laughed it off and Tae took of sip of his water. Out of no where he spit it onto Yoongi and looked at his hand. "Hey! Watch it!" Yoongi wiped off as much as he could and looked up at Tae.
Tae looked like a ghost. His skin was pale, his hand was shaky, he looked nervous. "Are you ok?" Yoongi asked looking at the confused boy.
"Hyung- there's something- o-on m-my fi-inger." Yoongi looked as his hand. "Bro I don't see anything wrong with-" Yoongi came to a pause. He knew what Tae was seeing but he refused to believe it.
Tae tried to read the string but it was to blurry and the words didn't make sense. The bell rang and everyone got up. Tae tugged at the ring, the person was close. He tugged and tried to follow it. He couldn't really see since it was crowded. He saw what looked like a little boy with blonde hair.
Tae looked confused.
"Where is he?" Yoongi looked in the crowd. "Tae, what do you see?" Tae quickly darted toward the blonde boy. In seconds, Yoongi lost sight of Tae. Tae squeezed through people, dodged them, went around, said excuse me.
But nothing. He lost the boy. He looked and scanned the room. He saw a blonde boy turn the corner. He quickly ran, turned the corner, and he grabbed his arm.
"Uh, excuse me." The blonde man turned around confused." "Im sorry it's just," Tae looked into the mans eyes, he thought. 'It's not him.' Then Tae looked down at the mans hand and saw he was holding onto a girl, his girlfriend. Tae let go. "I'm so sorry." He bowed. "I though you was someone else my apologies." "No worries man."
Tae felt disappointed and wanted to leave. Yoongi found Tae slowly walking out. "Hey! Wait up." Yoongi caught up with Tae. "So what happened? Did you meet him?" "No." Tae said disappointed.
"Oh." Yoongi looked away and scratched the back of his head. Tae took a big sigh. "It's what ever I guess, maybe I'm not meant to be loved."
Yoongi quickly turned Tae to him. "What? Are you an idiot? Tae don't be ridiculous, I care for you. And your friends, your mom, everyone, we all care for you." Tae walked out without saying a word. Yoongi reaches out, but then pulled back. He decided to give Tae some space. So he walked back to class.
Tae walked to the park, but this time he sat at a different bench, the one under the tree. He closed his eyes sighed deeply and laid there for eternity. "You know-" Tae said lifting his hand up. "Maybe I'm not meant to be with anyone special." He put his arm over his eyes and cried quietly.
"Well maybe you just haven't found the right person." Tae removed his hands and saw a beautiful blond hair boy staring back at him. "I'm sorry, I don't mean to get into your business. I just like this spot, it's my favorite one out of the entire world." Tae sat up and the blonde boy took a seat. The boy took in a deep breath. Tae was trying to wipe off the tear stains on his cheek.
"The park is a nice spot. So you come here often?" The blonde boy smiled at Tae. "I'm sorry is that a question or a pick up line?" Tae said as he smiled and looked at the boy in the eyes.
His eyes.
Taehyung saw his eyes. They were light brown. Hazelnut. Tae wanted to keep looking into his eyes, he wanted to dive right in. But he was afraid, if he dove into his eyes, he might never come up for air.
The blonde boy quickly blushed. "Oh no wait- I didn't mean it like that- I mean you are attractive but- well I wouldn't do that- not saying that I don't think your a good guy- but I'm not one to usually-." Tae giggled. "It's fine I know what you meant. And I do come here often. Actually, this is home to me basically. I've never left the states or even Chicago ever since I got here."
The blonde boy looked up. "Oh I can't even count all the places I've seen! The world is such a nice place. They ways it forms mountains and grows flowers. How even though we mistreat it, it's still providing us with what we need. So many beautiful sights the world has to offer, so many things to see, to touch, to eat. I've been almost everywhere."
Tae eyes scanned the boy. He wasn't that bad looking, nice face, skin complexion is amazing, even his muscles are perfect. His hair was beautiful, it was this nice blonde.
Blonde.
"I'm sorry, have we met before?" Tae looked straight into the mans eyes. "I don't think we have." The blonde boy looked at him as well. "I wouldn't forget a pretty face like yours."
Tae smiled and then looked at his phone, 8:47. "Ah, well I have to go. It was nice meeting you-."
"Park." Taehyung laughed. "Your last name is park and a park is your favorite place in the world. How ironic."
Park smiled. "Sometimes the ironic things are easier to believe."
"Well I'll see you next time Park."
"I hope."
Tae waved back and he slowly put his hand down. In that split second when Park put up his hand and smiled, something red illuminated from Taes finger." A sense of confusion and tiredness hit Tae. He brushed it off and walked home.
