Since that night at the park, Tae has been trying his absolute hardest to bring happiness and good things to his relationship with Jimin. The truth is Jimin still loves Tae. But he's afraid of getting hurt again so he wants to make sure that Tae won't get up and leave.

It's been 8 months and everything is going well. Tonight is the night that Jimin is going to ask Tae to be his boyfriend. Tae has other things planned, Tae convinced Jimin they should go visit Tae's mom since he hasn't seen her in a few months. Tae felt a bit guilty for not checking up on her and Jimin thought this would be a nice time to ask Tae's mother for her blessing.

The boys arrive at the airport in Korea. They take a cab to the house. While in the cab Jimin's heart starts to pound. He hasn't felt like this in the longest time. He doesn't remember the last time he's ever asked anyone out on a date.
"Jimin?"
Tae notices Jimin's off behavior.
"Hm?"
Jimin responds.
"You ok?"
Tae raises an eyebrow.
"Yea! Sorry, I was zoning out."
"Oh, ok. Want some water?"
Tae pulls out a water and motions Jimin to grab it but Jimin shakes his head.
"No, I'm ok. Thanks."

The boys reach the house.
Tae gives his mother a big hug and Jimin walks over and hugs her as well.
"How are my boys doing!"
"Ok mom, just checking in."
Tae walks into the kitchen to start making dinner. His mother doesn't really cook anymore, she now has a nurse that takes care of her.

Jimin shyly stands there.
"Jimin, how have you been?"
She says with a soft voice and grabs Jimin's arm then slowly rubs it for comfort.
"I'm doing great ma'am, thank you for asking. Are you doing better?"
She smiles weakly.
"I'm ok."
There's a moment of silence as Tae starts make dinner. She motion for Jimin to come sit with her and he pulls up a chair.

"Jimin, I'd like to apologize."
Jimin leans his head to the side.
"What for?"
"For treating you so badly the first time we met. You didn't deserve any of that and I'll try my hardest to make sure that Tae gets you back. It's my fault you guys had a fall out, so I wanna help fix it."
Jimin smiles.
"The thing is, Tae has always treated me well, always. There wasn't ever a doubt in my mind that Tae would intentionally hurt me. And I feel comfort hearing you say this. I actually came here for your blessing to ask out Tae."

Jimin turns a bit red but still trys to keep eye contact. Tears slowly fall from her face and Jimin feels like he shouldn't have said that.
"I— Uh.. Mrs. Kim.. please don't cry! I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you upset."
Jimin freaks out not knowing what to do.
She wipes her tears and laughs.
"Jimin I'm crying out of joy. I'm happy that it's you."
They smile at each other then embrace in a hug. After Tae calls them to come over and eat the dinner he has prepared.

Jimin and Tae are saying farewell.
Jimin already said his goodbye so he was walking out.
"Bye mom! Thanks for letting me come over I love you very much. Your assistant will come back in 20 minutes"
He kisses her forehead. Before he could turn away and leave she grabs his arm.
"Hold onto him Tae."
She smiles.
"Huh?"
"Jimin. Hold onto Jimin. He's such an amazing boy please don't let him go."
Tae shows her a smile.
"I wasn't planning on that."
"Good, you better not."
She points a finger and shakes her hand as almost to ridicule him.
"Ok mom I have to go, bye!"
He heads out and she heads towards the door. She sees her son catching up to Jimin. She sees them talking and she notices that Tae flashes one of his adorable boxy smile. And that's when she knew.

"I'm so tired!"
Tae loud whispers as he plops into the bed. Jimin softly chuckles as he lays next to him. There's this soft silence as tired looks land on the boys faces. Jimin and Tae's fingers softly brush against each other as they lay there. The boys fall asleep.

"Jimin, come on get up!"
Tae nudges Jimin.
"Huh?"
Jimin sluggishly says.
"You can't fall asleep on the bench! You just said we were going to take a break not sleep!"
Tae laughs as he helps Jimin to his feet.
"When did we get here?"
Jimin says, confused.
"Woah Jimin I didn't know you'd forget, Earth to Jimin! This is your husband speaking!"

Jimin and Tae kept walking until Jimin finally processed what Tae had said.
"Husband?!"
Jimin turned quickly to look at Tae, but he was gone.
"Tae?"
Jimin looked in all directions until he heard a loud crash and people screaming. He followed the noise to see Tae on the floor, bleeding and unresponsive.
"TAE!"
Jimin yelled loudly.

Jimin quickly shot up, breathing heavily and looking at his surroundings. His heartbeat quickly regulated as he saw Tae sleeping soundly beside him. Jimin caught his breath and looked at Tae.
He touched his face to make sure he wasn't dreaming.
Tae nuzzles his face into Jimin's palm.
Jimin's sleepy expression comes back as he smiles slightly. Jimin leans in and plants a kiss on Tae, then roles over and goes to bed.
Tae, feeling the kiss slowly wakes up, as if it's the first time he's waking up in years.
His cheeks turn red as he realizes it's Jimin who had kissed him.
He looks over at Jimin who is clearly passed out. Now Tae is doubting if that really was Jimin. Tae rolls over and faces Jimin's back. He scoots closer and hugs Jimin tightly. In a matter of seconds Tae falls back asleep. The sound of crickets fill the room and the moon lit room feels peaceful.

Shorty what.. this chapter was a bit difficult to write since I have writers block but hopefully it will go away and I'll be able to write more!
