In The End

I'll never regret

A word I said to you

Because everything I said

Was 100% true.

I did something I had never done.

I took a shot in the dark.

For once, I swallowed my pride

And followed my heart.

You might not want me now

Because you chose her.

Just remember

That I had you first.

Maybe things didn't go

The way I intended,

But I have a feeling

It's going to work out in the end.
