Just Not Today

What comes easy, won't last.

What last, won't come easy.

This is what I say everyday to

Remind myself you're perfect for me.

If waiting for you is all it takes

For me to prove how much I love you

Then I'll wait every single day

Because I have nothing else to lose.

It'll take some time before you realize.

Just like it did for me;

And although nobody believes it,

They will. Just wait and see.

Yet it might be a while,

It might take a long time

Until you stop being afraid like me

And holding all your feelings inside.

Someday you'll realize and tell me

All the words I've been dying to say.

I know this day is coming.

It's just not today.
