It's Always Been Me

If I could show you how much you mean to me, If I could make you understand

That if you came back,

I'd never let you go again.

I know I made a mistake

By letting you go;

But I wouldn't have learnt

The things I now know.

I can't make you come back

Until you see for yourself

That you only want me

And nobody else.

It might take a week, a month,

Or even a year;

But I don't care. The whole time,

I'll be waiting right here

Because there's nothing else I can do

To make you see

Except be there for you in thatmoment You realize it's always been me.
