Where We Left Off

Our story isn't one

I would choose,

But I don't care how hard it is

Because this road leads me to you.

I hate I lost you

Before I even knew

That the person I want

For the rest of my life is you.

I'm so close to letting go.

I'm hanging by a thread,

Yet no matter what anyone says or how hard I try, I can't get you out of my head.

It gets hard sometimes,

But I wouldn't take this road back

Because I know it leads me straight to you. I keep hanging on to that.

I can't wait for the day when you come back. It'll seem like not a moment was gone.

We'll pick up
