Ever since that moment I knew it was you, I've seen colors in a whole new way.
It's helped me described things in a
way I've never figured out how to say.
Losing you was like a deep shade of
blue that made everything dreary and cold.
Then it all seems grey
Knowing she has your hand to hold
Seeing you is yellow,
And each time it gets brighter.
Just thinking of how you make me
feel, it makes me seem lighter.
Missing you was white.
I felt so blank and empty,
And being reminded of your face
Made it all seem lime green.
As I replay the time you rejected me
It makes me black inside.
I feel so dark and alone.
I want to die.
Orange makes me think of the light
In your eyes that always glimmered,
Or a light pink reminds me of the way
Your touch would make me shiver.
And last but not least,
Is the color I haven't said.
The one that reminds me of loving
you, is the color red.
